As stated elsewhere, Z Cook will be riding in Poland mostTuesdays. Also where do you get the idea that ZC is a Plymouth asset? Didn't Mark Philips go on record to thank Matt Ford in helping Plymouth to assist with ZC, Bjarne and Hans for the 2021 season??

Riding for Torun U24s on Tuesdays will make that a little futile. -

So Poole didn't bring both Cook brothers over from Oz and loan Zach to Plymouth in the first place then?! The Holders then got him the place at Torun U.24 squad so he can't ride Tuesdays whether it's Plymouth or Sweden!! -

No bait here. Anyone who listened to Zach's interview on last week's PiratecastLive will know what his plans are. -

Zach won't ride for a Tuesday club here while he still has the Polish U.24 league on Tuesdays!!! -

The main issues for 2023 have been discussed and provisionally agreed, subject to the final number of team declarations and financial stability to be approved at next week's AGM as a matter of record.

So no MPT return to the Coliseum for 2023 except as a visitor!! Reckons he's done deals for both Premiership and Championship but not at Plymouth!! Tuesdays in Devon are not going to suit his racing schedule in 2023 apparently. -
Well done to all concerned at Coventry. So nice to hear some positivity.

With Lawson signed up in Poland with all they demand, why would he go to a weekend track in UK, especially with a limit on guarantees?
-
And that's exactly what the Prem want again. And possibly Eurosport as well?!

I can't see all 3 heat leaders staying. I guess Steve Worrall will be discussing things with MF during his family holiday in France this week. I reckon Ben will be 3rd heat leader.

Yes it's in the International section, on facebook and in the local Poole paper.

Jubilee championship league
SteveLyric2 replied to westlakejawa's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Yes but Leicester proposed it. You know Leicester that are members of the governing BSPL whose rules are such that they are always 'in the best interest of the sport'!! They are hardly going to claim anything as 'illegal' as they are part of it. -
It's not just about getting a visa. Its the type of visa that allows work in more than just one league/country. Ben Cook has to get his changed for next year.

...but Leicester agreed (or proposed) the switch so...... ? Poole were pleased to simply get it on, despite a couple of riders never having seen the place and having no practice. -

In it to win it as fans of both teams will be. If no other teams or fans are interested, fair enough. Not sure how it can 'damage the sport'? -

Is that a 'guarantee'?

I guess it might depend on how different the team building points limits are and how much 'stronger' the Prem teams are likely to be? -
If Premiership clubs can't attract stronger riders, what is the point of Polish Speedway relaxing their rider rules? Prem clubs should increase their team building average up to say 46 points to attract some 'stronger riders' if they can be afforded and leave the Championship well alone at around 40-41 points!
