  1. Poole Track shop open on Saturday 10am to 2pm for collection of season tickets (photo I.D. required) and first chance to see/buy the new 2025 merchandise.
  2. Maybe he has got other(better?) commitments on Mondays/Thursdays?
  3. Just for clarity, have all Championship line-ups been accepted and officially 'declared' by SCB/BSPL? They are still shown as 'announcements!' on BSPL website.
  4. Lewy, just read others posts. Hope that's sufficient for you.......and please stop your personal insults.
  5. There are a number of 'new' companies giving their address at Poole Stadium, with one named director!! Guess who.....?
  6. New safety fence on order for 2026 - and beyond!😃
  7. The Poole ' Harbour Masters' is to be an annual event - a bit like the old Blue Riband but for NDL riders (with or without Will Cairns)!
  8. Wimborne Road to host the 'Harbour Masters' on May 21st, as part of the NDL Development Series.
  9. Let's see if he gets any Championship guest (injury) bookings elsewhere? He'll likely be at Poole for one meeting this season anyway.
  10. I was told today - from a very reliable source- that Sonny Springer's father did not want him to do Championship this year!!
  11. Trips off the tongue nicely....!😃 Who would have thought a former rider would sponsor a senior side??
  12. Matt Marson finished with a 6.20 NDL average with Belle Vue last season, equivalent to the likes of Foord and Vale and more than 0.5 higher than Springer. Danny Ford 'more than happy' with the Poole line up! (BBC Radio Solent 22.01.25)😀
  13. You surely don't expect EVERY post on here to be 100% accurate. Opinions simply aren't like that.🤣🤣
  14. Maybe a 25 year old can travel to 12 meetings under his own steam rather than a 16year old having to rely on family members who may not be geared up for midweek commitments? Just a thought.......
  15. ....but having to travel way up north for away meetings and midweek home meetings! Leicester's ndl/ndt meetings will be at weekends, as will be the case for the majority of ndl/ndt riders under consideration.
  16. ...fair and done in the past, not all about self interest....exactly!!😇
  17. That's quite an accusation Lewy with absolutely nothing to justify it!! Everyone on any board of directors has the ability to influence decisions/policy, otherwise why agree to be on it? You might just as well leave it to a dictator....!😝
  18. John Campbell is now on the BSPL Directors Board (replacing Danny Ford) so surely he will have influence to dictate the Monarch's 1-7 riding order?!
  19. Local Echo is reporting that a contract has been offered to prospective no 7 who is working out all the logistics with his father and family.
  20. It's still Matt's club though and he's in daily contact with Danny during the season as well as sorting out all the rider contracts. He was also very involved in the successful 'Save Coventry' appeal hearing as potential promoter/co-promoter of speedway which he stated would return at Championship level. Anyway changing the subject, the Poole R.E.F. are holding a quiz night on Weds 15th Jan at Broadstone Royal British Legion Club. Special guests will be William Cairns and his father who are travelling down from Aylesbury.
  21. Wow. Its all got a bit deep hasn't it?! Judging by Poole's trophy cabinet it looks very much like the ambition is still to win every competition Poole are in - whether it be Matt's or Danny's ambition? Or both?! As well as to make a profit. Trophy-winning teams, very decent sponsorship and continued strong attendances on your chosen preferred racenight are a great business model. So why change it......?
  22. Starting on Wednesday 16th?? Don't think so........!!!
