Just a thought that has bee causing some debate.....
Where was the last 'proper' cinder track?
One school of thought was Wigan, the other Stoke.
Does anyone out there have the answer?
Don't really see why it needs to be "Americanised"
Riders, no helmets, trikes was good. This one fell flat big time and the problems it caused was hilarious.
F.T.M.,
How thick was each layer? How many passes did the vibro-roller do in addition to the quarry wagons?
Was CM concerned about the moisture content in the track? It looked like water was trapped in it.
Were there any stipulations about the amount of fines in the track?
Recently for all the football play offs there has been a speed camera van parked on the gantry as you approach the toll booths.
This area has recently had it's speed limit reduced to 50mph.
Bewarned the bleeders may be there.

Why is there a yellow and black helmet cover?
Can understand the red, blue, white/green but why yellow and black
Also,
Why is the penultimate flag a yellow one with a black cross. The rest of them make sense....
If anyone knows....
I had heard the same. No nonsense riding style.
