  1. FIM U21 Qualifier? Crump v Sullivan Match Race? 4TT (expected)? Open Meeting - tracking Iverson, Bjerre K, Bjerre L, Anderson, Batchelor etc?
  2. I recall seeing Ben trying similar 'moves' at Peterbrough v Birmingham meeting! As you say he's no angel but I have little doubt the hot head was just riding 'hard but fair' and 'left enough room'. IMO he has one of the shortest fuses in Speedway.
  3. Would have loved to have seen Todd Kurtz & Klindt in the side with Roynan at reserve - would then hope to have movement from reserve into the 1-5 throughout the season with one of the two reserves always banging in big points! However, credit to Ged and Trev on a very good 1-5. If they have found reserves who can challenge for a team place I'll. be thinking Christmas has come early!
  4. Add Allen to existing signings would leave 7.24 for the remaining two positions which would be reserves - weak bottom end? Would love to see Todd Kurtz line up for the Panthers in 2015. Add Nicolia Klindt plus a reserve at 3.53 or less - that would do nicely!
  5. All three (Crump, Sullivan and Pederson) started in the Premier League. Remember Nicki taking part in an Individual meeting at Alwalton the season before he signed for Newcastle - could never understand why we didn't get his signature given Ronni had riden for us for a couple of seasons.
  6. Could be good news i.e. Adam will be at 6 or 7 with a strong 1-5. To fill a 3 point position (Dilger is 3.04)unless there is a promising youngster out there I'd give Dilger four to six weeks - new equipment, new season he may just deliver the goods, but then again . . . . . . . Who would want to be a promoter!
  7. Would have thought it a bit early to make such a challenge! Still have five places to fill, so time will tell if the HP was genuine. Message boards would be so boring without speculation, rumours and the occasional wind up!
  8. 2nd rider to be announced tomorrow - why drip feed? When a deal is done tell us don't fanny around!
  9. Yes, all be it I can't remember if it were 2013 or any other year/period! The professionalism shown by Rick and Julie had to be admired. Too often last season it felt like the track staff/other staff had only just turned up and left everything to the last minute. Never recall having those feelings with Rick & Julie. Not sure what the reason was but so often last season, I and the group I sit with were desperate for meetings to finish - they took too long to run with horrible voids in between races. If tapes go up at 7.30pm the meeting should be finished by 9.00pm. Also if there is going to be a long delay to repair an air fence take the interval early! Don't have us sit around for 30 minutes, see 2 more races then take an interval! Better jump off the horse now!
  10. Wouldn't want and didn't't suggest home "tanking", home wins and entertainment being the priority - can't afford silly home losses or delays and abandoned meetings like last season. Get a team of racers and run meetings without unnecessary delays.
  11. Todd Kurtz and Ollie Allen not in Somerset 7 - fingers crossed both will be riding for the Panthers!
  12. No Oliver Greenwood for Panthers riding for the Rebels.
  13. Wooden Spoon? Think priority should be to entertain/win at home to pull the crowds in, the odd away win being a bonus. Would like to see Todd Kurtz at the Showground - a snip on current average and good for home crowds too!
  14. Chuck Redcar in the NL and it might be worth considering!!!!!
  15. With the detail made up half way though the 2015 season!
  16. 1 King 8.84 2 Roynon 4.78 3 Ostergaard 8.00 4 T Kurtz 5.96 5 Klindt 6.68 6 Covatti 4.21 7 Greenwood 3.12 Total 41.59
  17. Do it like the Grand National - jockeying for position and rolling starts!
  18. Horton shouldn't worry about the point but attendances. That's 3 meetings not going the distance in recent weeks, no atmosphere and little to cheer. Track grading is a little odd, in the Glasgow meeting the track was graded for 3 consecutive heats then when there was added time for a rider taking two rides on the trot no grading! FFS we pay to watch bikes racing not tractors! probably income reducing too! With you on that one!
  19. Allen, Blackbird, Hawkins, Howe, Jacobs, Oliver Greenwood and Ulrich captain. Not sure if averages fit but should be ok if we get Matt Ford to submit!
  20. Good call! It's hard to find a link, unless there is a hidden suggestion that Pearson had been drinking! Back on thread - I just hope whatever punishment Darcy gets it allows him to turn things around. I don't care if it's two weeks or two years I just hope it's enough to get his career back on track with no further misdemeanours.
  21. Looking at the Panthers line up tonight it suggests the cunning plan has been carefully thought through. Would the Community Partnership want the expense of three play off fixtures? Mmmmm . . . . . .
  22. If it wasn't already the season must now be over for the Panthers. Unless . . . . . management move quickly to replace Fisher, Blackbird and the out of sorts Dryml.
  23. Ales has not performed as expected nor has/did Fish based on this seasons average.
  24. Ulrich and Lasse team riding with Joe was worth the admission alone. Lasse showing maturity beyond his years. Well done lads!
