Hi all. Im having problems with my speedway bike that i recently got. Iv got fair a mechanical knowledge but not owned a speedway bike for quite a few years now so bear with me! Bike is is a jawa 500, has a blixt carb fitted. When i turn fuel on it pours out the overflow. We have tried numerous things, tapping carb with spanner, starting bike with fuel off then turning on but no luck. we have had bowl of carb off and checked float is free, when the float is held up the fuel doesnt flow when i release it the fuel flows in, so all appears to work as it should to me. lowered float level but still no luck! if anyone could shed some light on this it would be much appreciated.
