Dakota North has agreed terms in the UK, maybe elite, premier or both. Will be announced soon according to his facebook page.
-
Im afraid you are deluded, they have not offered contracts to anyone other than Sundstrom. They have asked riders what terms they are looking for, and made offers to Hans, thats not a contract. Its really no ones business, they are entitled to negotiate with their assets.
-
Very childish comment, what have Bjerre and Sundstrom got to do with it. Tell me, why dont Swindon buy them, or do you think P'boro exist to provide riders for Swindon after investing in those riders.

BluPanther replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
No, he was not offered to coventry on a loan basis, it was a full transfer or maybe swap for Harris. -
I was very suprised he was not in the Bee's plans for this year, he certainly has the potential to increase his average.
-
On a loan from Newcastle, permission asked, granted and deal done.
-
Yes, but Swindon are not a championship side, they are elite lge champions. Your top two riders are available to purchase, so stop bickering and buy them. Perhaps Mr Frost wishes to purchase another asset, maybe Kenni Larsen, he is entitled to sell some that want away.
-
You want Troy, buy him back. You want Hans, buy him. Simple, job done. Or....is it a case of Swindon knowing that Troy is likely to throw a wobbly at some stage and want away again, as he regulary does. Rules and regulations exist for a reason chaps.
-
MJJ was never going to ride in the UK this year, like THJ, he has no interest in it. The other 3 know KJB will always be first choice with Mr Frost. Dont forget, Frost sponsors Bjerre on an individual basis. The asset system is to blame here, it is unworkable in the present economical situation.
-
There was a rumour about Harris, but im sure options were always open on that. It has never been confirmed that was a fact, although the Hans/Coventry link would confirm that was one option. Either way, rules must be adhered too, even tho the present system is not perfect.
-
Did not P'boro buy Troy from Swindon ? Why should Swindon not buy him if they want him back. You made Doyle an asset and your not even using him this year. Good luck with getting Zagar.
-
Could i just point out, P'boro bought Hans and Troy. How is recouping your outlay 'lining your pockets'. Did Mr Frost not BUY Troy from Swindon ? You want him back, then cough up.
-
Alot of people are missing the point here. Boro planned to include both Hans and KJB this year, but rule changes put paid to that. NO ONE knows what offers Hans was made, apart from the two parties involved. P'boro have signed riders observing the rules and regulations, its a shame other teams cannot do the same. Poole and Lakeside have assembled teams in the proper manner, it can be done ! Anyone who believes Bjerre has been kept in the dark about his place is seriously deluded. His place has never been in question, apart from the speculators on here who comment without having the facts.
-
It makes you wonder if they have 3 hats with different decisions in them, and they roll a dice to decide what hat the ruling will come from. You must admit, they are consistantly inconsistant !
-
A casual conversation is fair enough, but two of these riders announced they had done deals with clubs before P'boro had been approached for permission. This is more than a casual chat, it is a breach of regulations. Batch announced his deal on Twitter and Swindon told him to delete it asap.
-
Well that puts the record straight, it seems like some clubs are meeting riders in dark alleyways, doing dodgy deals. This shows a complete lack of respect for the rules and regulations.
-
They obviously cant afford to buy NKI now they have bought Rory. I have little doubt he will ride for Lynn this year, maybe with the promise of buying him for 2014. The sooner the transfer system is replaced the better. Domestic speedway cant afford this system, 2yr fixed contracts are the way to go.
-
Dakota has a Polish team this year, and dont be suprised if he gets a doubling up role at parent club Peterborough this year.
-
You never saw Bridger when he was at the East of England Showground with the Panthers then...he was awful, just rode round the white line ignoring the fast lines.
-
I think you Wolves may struggle this year, some new faces would have freshened it up, plus you have 2 gp riders who may have one eye on that. Your final signing will have to be a good one. Good luck.........

BluPanther replied to Honey Monster's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I think you are confusing overtaking and racing, with riders making mistakes on a small, tight, slow track that is more suited to cycle speedway. Lakeside, Eastbourne and Belle Vue are boring tracks im afraid, its called speedway, not slowway. -
Unfortunately, domestic speedway in Britain is struggling these days. The elite lge relies heavily on sky money and clubs on sponsors. Maybe its time for fixed term contracts to be used in the UK, possibly 2 years, after which the rider is free to negotiate with another club. This would free up transfer monies which would ease the financial burden.
-
Whilst i accept your comments in general, i feel it is reasonable to want a fee for number one riders like Hans and Iverson, especially as the latter has stated he does not want to ride for the panthers.
-
They may have offered Hans a deal, but that does not mean he would have been signed. Now that Swindon have made an offer, the situation will all pan out. I think Mr Frost is entitled to seek some transfer fee's for his assets, he paid out for Linus and Troy after all. Its time the vulture teams in the elite lge stopped feeding off other clubs assets, its time they bought some of their own. I must add that Swindon have acted in a professional manner, i applaud them for making an offer for Hans.
-
I will be amazed if an elite lge club dont sign David Bellago for a doubling up slot this year. He would be a steal on his low average, and looked well on the pace when he rode for the Panthers last season.
