Who will he be guesting for in the play offs ?
-
Come the start of the season, im sure you raging robins will be able to cheer on your favourite panthers. and comments will be aimed back on the track. At least you never stooped so low as to change your race night to include someone.
-
I saw Lakeside twice last year, and there was only one British rider in the team.....! ! !
-
Its called humour, you should try it sometime....or is it way above your head, which seems to be buried in the sand.
-
That is very true, unfortunately it has caused this big mess. I would say two wrongs dont make a right, but the BSPA should have made sure these circumstances never happened again after the farce of AM. Im afraid thats not going to happen, the sport is run by clowns. Rules must be set in stone to prevent this happening again.

The Swindon Panthers and Birmingham Bees will be contesting a new trophy this year called the Dick Turpin Cup, according to the Highwayman Gazette. The trophy has kindly been donated by Alex Harkess, and he has sent the bill to Rick Frost.
-
One thing for sure in all this mess is that clubs will think twice before buying assets in the future. This will hit prem lge clubs that often keep their heads above water by selling new young talents. Now that clubs can illegally approach riders, do deals and then demand to the controlling body that they be allowed to ride for them, i would suggest their is no need to ever buy again. I sense this is far from over...

You really still dont get it do you, its unreal ! Its not the loaning out which is the problem, its the tapping up of riders before parent clubs are approached, doing deals before that permission is sought. It is not allowed in any sport, and rightly so. And in Barker's case, he verbally acccepted terms, which in law is a contract although hard to prove. P'boro and Coventry have not broken the rules here, we all know the teams that have.

Yesterday evening at 7.45pm in his kichen, in consultation with his pet budgie.....More tosh, speedway's ruler's are a complete joke.
-
Bet you had to get your calculator out before you posted that.
-
Could i just point out that p'boro started last season with 5 of their own assets, so your 'for once' comment carries no vailidity at all.
-
The 2/20 rule is one of the worst pieces of regulation ever to come out of that room full of clowns.
-
The poles averaged nearly doubled that away, difference is they scored big points at home, which Lawson rarely did. Norbert's away form started to improve, thats why he is back on a 5.50 average.
-
Well i suggest you check the official stats on the P'boro website. 8 meetings, 38 rides, 23 pts.
-
Richard's green sheet away average last year was 2.42, i would suggest this is why he is not in the team.
-
If P'boro are forced to rethink team plans due to the new 2/20 rule, why is it anyone else's business. Im sure a few teams had to rethink after that. Im pretty sure Poole planned to use Pawlicki and probably told him so, but new regs put paid to that. Richard {william] Lawson is still free to get an elite slot elsewhere.
-
Im afraid your 'sauces' are somewhat incorrect. I was 14 42yrs ago.......
-
100% correct, well said.
-
Some decent points raised. However when Sundstrom was bought he was still a PL rider, and the 2/20 rule has restricted team building plans as they were going to use 3 in the top 20. Its all a bit of a mess, the 2/20 rule is plain crazy, what good has come of it. You have 42.5 pts, let the clubs decide how they build teams.
-
Maybe Gary Patchett has been away on holiday and has'nt opened his post from the BSPA yet .....
-
I suspect it will be the Panthers, although if it is Sheffield, you will have got a good un.
-
On facebook he said he has done a deal with a team and they will announce it when their ready. He has already announced his Polish club.
-
Dakota North has already done a deal with a club, just not announced yet. I suspect it is Sheffield or P'boro, it cant be both as all P'boro riders will be full time elite this year.
-
And you know this as a fact how ? Fisher's contract is between him and the club, third party speculation is pure tosh.
-
Nice to see some clubs respond to rules and regulations with 'yeah...whatever'
