  1. Chris Louis should be considered imo, and im sure his father, a 4 time world team cup winner himself, could be a wise head to consult if need be...
  2. Bech does not say it is a Weds track, he just said he has been assured any clashes with the Danish lge will hopefully be avoided. Sounds like it could be BV, Lakeside, Wolves or Eastbourne, they are probably the 4 most difficult tracks to master. I have a sneaky feeling that Wolves are favourites, if so he could be a great replacement for fast Freddie at Monmore...
  3. Must be Hougaard then, not many 'bigger' than Paddy...
  4. Someone is to blame for the garbage meetings they show, and their obsession with small trick tracks that provide little entertainment. Have asked many times who picks the Live Meetings, I have my suspicions, but no one has ever confirmed who it is. If TV exposure is to promote the sport, they must show meetings at the best racing circuits from BOTH leagues, as the Prem lge has some cracking tracks...
  5. I will not lose any sleep without a new Sky deal. Their involvement in the sport has done nothing to enhance the domestic leagues, their choice of meetings is abysmal, and it would appear all the money has been used to line the pockets of the top riders instead of investing in new young talent. Hardly a raging success...
  6. That's a very good question Matt, I don't know anyone who has subscribed to them yet. Sport channel subscriptions seem to be low priority with folk these days, and I cant see that changing...
  7. Freddie has been a great servant to Wolves and British speedway, I cant believe anyone would not wish him well in 2014 as he strives to make a mark on the World scene..
  8. Take your time English, your always good for a read..
  9. Somerset is the best Prem lge track English, but i think crazyb was referring to Elite lge tracks...
  10. I cant access the official site. What's that all about, anyone know ?
  11. Not competing at all Starman. I have sponsored two top English rider in the past through a business, so I am aware of guidelines. I personally never had any problems from HMRC, only help and assistance..
  12. That's just common sense though, as advertising must be reasonable and affordable. Your Cardiff sponsorship was obviously an example of this, and I applaud your involvement in the sport..
  13. That's dependant on the business turnover, and a very grey area. The tax man has no say in a companies advertising budget unless it is proven to be fraudulent...
  14. Still think something should be done to keep the season going for those that are not in the play offs. I go to watch good speedway, and don't really care if its a play off or some other meeting. Just don't want it to end early Sept..
  15. The MJJ burger with onions and hay fever sauce...that's not to be sneezed at.
  16. Angling for a return to his parent club maybe, to form a potent spearhead with KJB..
  17. And this illustrates the downside of the playoffs. If you come 5th, your season ends on Sept 1st, and that's ridiculous...
  18. It should be increased if anything, the league was stronger when he last rode. Ridiculous if its true...
  19. Still not up for a debate then without making it tribal. Must be self loathing I would imagine...
  20. So are the play offs, whats the difference..
  21. If the play offs are retained, why cant the teams finishing 5th-8th compete in the KOC to keep their season going as well...
  22. Don't think Eastbourne would be too keen on a 40 match Elite which is being talked of, they could be dropping down. Hoping the Witches return to the top flight, the sooner the better imo...
