Very impressive performance from the Tigers tonight Good solid team effort. Tobi was awesome after his first race last place. On this form he looks a steal on his average. Our top 5 were consistent and only ran one last. Very good victory against top of the league Aces

I think track preparation will be key. Last week track was dry and dusty and didn’t look much shale on track. I don’t think it was watered during the meeting either. It suited the gate and go wolves lads more than ours. No stock cars this week so hopefully they will prepare it more for our lads

Well done wolves Just about deserved it. Track poor tonight. Very dusty Must be a water shortage!!!! Tigers go through by 1 point. If we ride like this next week I think Belle Vue will take the points. Hopefully this will be a blip and we learn from it. No good been favourites if we don’t turn up !! -

Jack was injured at the GP which was televised for all to see. Limped off but carried on in pain. So after a few days rest and possibly treatment declares himself fit. Anders Rowe I think was reportedly ill yet rode last night so not sure what’s up with him !!!! -

Hope Jack is fully fit and don’t aggravate the injury he sustained on Saturday. Should be a good meeting tonight with good weather -
Good away win against a team who beat a full strength Belle Vue last time out Well done Tigers and we had to come from 8 points down

Good win for the Tigers tonight Basso was impressive for Peterborough but nobody was getting near Toby. Awesome performance and a top signing. Hope Harris is ok after his high speed crash -
28.03. Aces v Tigers - Northern League Cup

I will be disappointed if they don’t occasionally score a few more than last night. Nielsen was averaging more than that last season before injury and didn’t mountain score about 14 on a visit to Belle Vue ? I don’t expect them to get heat leader scores every meeting but in certain meetings you need your reserve to get a big score to win the meeting. Jordan Palin did it on occasions last season for Peterborough didn’t he ? -

From a Sheffield point of view I thought it was a decent meeting. Hard to tell how good we are when there’s 2 riders missing. It’s ok been favourites on paper but totally different on track. Holder and Ellis did what was expected while Worrall was a decent guest. The other 3 struggled to make too much impression. Disappointed with Kyles showing he didn’t seem as aggressive as usual and poor from the gate. Hopefully he will turn it round asap. Good to start with an away win but the bottom 3 will need to up their game if we are to win anything and on our next visit I would expect Belle Vue to be a lot stronger. My message to our riders would be don’t believe all the hype get on track and prove it Good luck to the Tigers for the rest of the season -
Decent meeting to start the season I think Jack was a deserved winner. Tobias looks a class act. Kyle was the usual Kyle in the mix most races but Adam looked a bit inconsistent. Can’t see it been too much of a problem and expect him to be back to where he was last season. Doyley looked like he was going to go through the card and looked very fast. Hope he’s ok after that nasty smash. Well done to all the lads taking part. Look forward to the rest of the season now

Good to see Jack Holder getting 2022 off to a great start winning the NSW state title Beating Masters Pickering and Cook in the final.
-
Looks a decent team on paper. I would go with 1 Holder 2 Cook 3 Howarth 4 Musielak 5 Ellis 6 Nielsen 7 Mountain and inter change Cook and Howarth to suit certain Teams /Tracks Having Cook at 2 off inside gate in heat one could give him a spark for the evening if he wins it. Hopefully he’s over his troubles and can relax a bit with less pressure on him in our team We will see.

Number 8 for each team and Junior League

Danyon Hume was signed after 2 match trial and rode 11 meetings we had 6 guests for josh so it wasn’t horses for corses -
I think clubs have got to accept that this day and age you may as well announce signings as soon as the ink is on the contract because with social media it’s going to be leaked. It’s the same with football. Fans are anxious for up to date news which makes it nigh on impossible to keep anything a secret That’s the world we live in now so we’ve got to move with the times or get left behind. Peter mole said last week he would prefer to announce riders at staars meetings but in reality it won’t work. Our promotion do a brilliant job but I think we are at a time when riders just need to be announced as soon as possible to keep the interest going throughout the winter and hopefully the riders can get some sponsorship sorted early.
-
I hope Musielak isn’t his replacement as I’d like to see them both along with Jack and Adam. That would be a strong top 4 with Howarth mountain and Nielsen at the bottom end
-
Peter mole said Jack had been a pleasure to have in the team this season and wanted to be back at sheffield so I’d be surprised if he’s not back. He also said one of the riders was wanting big money but not who you’d think it might be. Hope it’s not Josh Pickering because I would love to see him back.
-
Think that would be a decent side and I’d be happy with that. Peter Mole said they had 7 riders sorted but had to make one change due to the Kings Lynn home meeting not been included in the final averages. They are now talking to another rider. He also said it would be a stronger team than last season.

Usually there are riders or promotors drop in for a question and answer evening. Peter mole Steady and Kyle are pretty regular at these meetings

Fancy Belle Vue to win by about 10 points tonight The other semi could go either way -

Steady didn’t bottle it he wasn’t riding. You can only manage what you’ve got. Nielsen’s injury has cost us and we are the weakest team of the 4 but we still managed to win at the favourites Peterborough quite easily the other week when all the experienced EX G P riders bottled it That night we hardly missed a gate tonight we couldn’t make one to save our lives. Hence the score line. We’ve actually lost to a side that won at Peterborough also. Funny old game this speedway isn’t it ?? -

Best team won on the night easily. If you can’t gate your never going to be in the meeting. Too many had an off night for Sheffield. The old Bachelor turned out tonight but not blaming him for the result but 3 points nowhere near what you’d expect from him. Most exciting rider of the night was Josh Pickering. If we don’t sign him next season I will be very disappointed along with many more sheffield fans. Heat 13 wright left Ellis no room from where I was stood so all four back was right decision. Not sure what happened with bewley and holder. Well done belle vue expect similar score on Thursday -

Hardly had any rain today since 6 am. Strong breeze and not raining at the moment. I’m only 1 Mile from the track. Regarding Connor Mountain apparently at an urgent BSPA meeting this morning if he scores well for us tonight he’s not allowed to ride for anyone else in the play offs -

Good win against a poor kings Lynn side. Nice to hit 60 mark. Well done to our new signing Troy Bachelor he looked a top rider today and more aggressive than in the past. Hope the maximum will give him confidence for the play offs -
