If you were at the meeting you would have seen the riders ready at the pit gate while our centre green announcer repeatedly told the crowd that the riders were ready but waiting for Eurosport to give them the nod to go to tapes. You see a totally different picture when you are at a televised meeting. When we go to Cardiff Phil Morris has to be told when to release the riders from the pits.

As I said I thought Ipswich deserved a point. Doyle would have won 14 and 15 and I think Riss could possibly a point in 15. If you read what our promotor has put it wasn’t just one airbag to pump up. I was told last night it was the impact and damage done to the gate airbag that caused all the problems!!
-
Why what’s not true. ? You believe what you want in your own fantasy world
-
Don’t need educating mate. I knew last night after the meeting what the problem had been so to read the crap about track staff wasting time made me laugh.
-
If you read what our promotor has explained you should understand the problem that occurred last night. Total one off But if you have your own agenda that’s fine by me. I’d rather believe the truth than the bile that some Ipswich fans have put on the forum. Who weren’t even at the meeting but know what happened and how quickly it should have been fixed If you believe them then you must be quite gullible
-
Exactly. But the facts are not considered by Ipswich fans you can’t educate these carrot crunching numpties in Ipswich. We’ve done the double over them already this season and in the first meeting they were sniping cus jack holder was injured and missed riding at one of his non favourite tracks because of an injury in the GP 2 days before. This was Live on tv which they will have watched cus they are only armchair fans. Then last night blamed the air fence and time wasting for the defeat !!!! They need to grow up accept defeat Move on

Well there seems to be a lot of bed wetting in Ipswich and a lot of finger pointing. Last nights meeting would have been better obviously without the delays BUT when Eurosport come to the stadium they dictate what happens. Last night the raffle girls couldn’t go on the centre green to make the draw and none of the corporate lot where aloud on either. The start of the meeting is always delayed because of ads and interviews etc. The next delay was heat 2 when broc Nicol stuffed mountain in the fence and got away with it. All the delays were explained by the centre green announcer but for all the armchair fans who weren’t there they wouldn’t know it was been held up by Eurosport. Then we had the Danny king incident which affected 3 panels not just the one he hit. Unfortunately one was the panel covering the gate and the vaulenteer track staff had problems with this repair. Probably if the Ipswich supporters who know all about air fences had turned up to support their team they could have advised on the repair. The meeting was then hurried along by Eurosport only for another Ipswich rider to hit the air fence and more time wasted. Sheffield have had a curfew for years and many people are aware of this because of local housing and a very strict council so we have to live with it. In between the delays I thought there was some decent racing and without the delays a lot of comments on here would have been a lot different. I think Ipswich probably deserved a point and might have achieved it in heat 15. So for all those who couldn’t be bothered to turn up but just enjoy moaning I would suggest pick up your remote and turn the speedway off and put love island on and watch a load of talentless people getting more money that riders risking their lives for your entertainment.

Wolverhampton v Peterborough 27/06/22

Rain forecast on and off today so hopefully done before teatime to allow track preparation -
If Sedgeman has a decent meeting he may be worth re signing. Jake Allen has not got back to where he was pre covid
-
Yes you can and for your top 3. Not much choice tho
-
Sedgeman in at reserve for Allan. I would put him in heat one as RR then use mountain in heat 6 Howarth heat 8 and Tobi heat 10. Should be a decent meeting. Ipswich have a few ex Tigers plus Doyle and starke have had good meetings at Sheffield

King's Lynn v Sheffield 23/06

Good win for Tigers tonight. Sets up a good meeting on Monday. Top 2 in the league live on tv -
Yes that’s just my thoughts on it. Stadium availability would have been sorted at beginning of season Id have thought. So it just seems a coincidence
-
I think it was the same day as Nigel Pearsons funeral and a lot of our management were there so that might have had something to do with the cancellation!!! He had close connections with Sheffield
-
If we had an 8 team league do you think we’d have enough time to get all the fixtures in ? We’ve known for 4 weeks now who the cup finalists are and still no date announced for the final for the early season competition!!!!!!

I feel sorry for Stef as riding at 6 is very tough but he’s not seemed as fast or aggressive as when he joined last year. Not surprising after his smash. I just hope Jake can get back to form ASAP -

I do too he was good last season upto his crash and doesn’t seem the same rider now -
Last season I was hoping we’d get Jake but he didn’t have too good a season. This year I can’t see any difference to be honest. I hope he can feed off the experience in our team and thrive because he’s definitely got talent. Wonder if it’s his bikes or him that’s been the problem

Would you have gone with Jack and Adam prior to the race after Tobi had looked best bet ? Jack and Adam have rode together more but we thought Tobi was better option before the race. !!! I think wolves had 4 riders to pick from who’d won more races. Lucky for us it turned out good after looking very ominous. We need to be more ruthless if we going to win anything this season. All in all good win and 3 points -
Jake Allan for Nielsen. If Jake can pick his form up it will be a good signing but seems to have lost his way a little recently

Should be a good meeting tonight. 2 good teams matched up. Just hope we haven’t prepared the track like last time wolves were here. Wolves just gated and went and there was nothing out wide for our lads to attack. -
Bad day at the office for Sheffield tonight. Just proves the league is more open than a lot of people think. When you get beat away from home it’s important to get an away point. Long way to go yet but we can’t afford too many pastings
-
I think if the Tigers are fired up from the home defeat by wolves we could sneak another away win Expect it to be close
-
Actually he didn’t gate and go in the other 4 he went round the boards and squeezed past the aces pair in one heat the same as jack holder did Fantastic bit of riding Then he pulled away to win by a distance Great signing.
