I will be there each week too as i always have been but not sure about the 7 klaus jakobsens !!!!!!.One was enough for me, Wish it would get sorted a.s.a.p.It just upsets me the way the management treat the supporters by drip feeding the team each year,if a rider has signed then announce it.As hally said last thursday he areed terms last november so why not announce it ? Hardly good p.r. ? Who ever signs lets hope we have a good season.

Are we going to drag it on for another week or will it be announced in the star tomorrow ?

Think hallys been told more than once and nowts changed.At last nights meeting i think he said his deal was areed last november,if thats the case why was it only announced this week? Did anyone else hear him say that ? Weve also got the PLRC again and the GB V AUSSIE test match.Good news.

The inevitable signing cant believe its been so drawn out.If its wells or north for the last spot i fear we will still struggle at home.Too much pressure on the new young lads.My main worry is are we going to make changes if we struggle or put up with it.Time will tell.

True and thats why the last 2 riders are important because many supporters wont tolerate another poor season.Lets hope its sorted soon and we have a more successfull season.

Im not missing the point and agree with your comment but how can any rider be expected to ride for less than the prvious year ? If they earn less through injury or poor form then so be it,Thats life,I dont know what deal he was on but knowing sheffield promotion it wont have been top dollar.So if we dont get ricky who do you think will ride for us on the money thats on offer ? As it stands if we get ricky and hally we are 1 1/2 points under the limit.Alot of pressure on the new lads to sustain their averages.

Which ever way you want to dress it up entertainment or competetive sports person they are still risking their lives as we witnessed last season with lee richardson .I wonder how many more riders will have accepted less this year in either elite or premier league.Add to that the potential loss of bonus point earnings and i can see a few of the lesser riders packing up.Cant see steady wanting to team ride with our new lads and lose money.Look at chris schramm last season ,he couldnt make it pay.How many 3rd places did he get and how much effort did he put in for them ? Poor decision by the promoters.

Yes i agree we are in a recession but is it right to offer some one less money for risking life and limb to entertain us ? Riders costs escalate every year.It gets beyond a joke.So to take a pay cut then have more potential earnings taken away from you due to not getting 3rd place bonus points is a farce.Because of this stupid rule we will now see team mates racing against each other for an extra few quid,that will do alot for team spirit.If you dont want wells because you obviously arent a fan of him then who do you suggest as a better option ?

Who in their right mind would ride for less than the previous season especially after losing money ? Ricky had rode wolverhampton previously the year before so had set ups etc already for last season.He came to sheffield which is totally diffrent track and had to learn it just as our new lads have to this season.The more worrying thing for me is if we dont sign him who are we going to get in.? The options are slim to say the least..

I think the main reason ricky didnt up his average was riding at 5 on a track he had hardly ever raced on.Had he had the luxury of riding at 4 his average may have been higher.Hence the inflated average for hally hiding away in heat 14 instead of going in with the big boys in heat 13 on a track hes raced on for years.I would like to see ricky back for another season.

Fear the worst if wells doesnt sign.Hes pretty useful away from home and can only improve.Looks like were going down the cheap and cheerful rubbish route again with exception of steady.Going down the sanchez and hall route and put a quid on admission price would be suicidal for the club after last season.

hopefully they wont be announcing richard hall.been there seen enough to know he wont improve.

well done to ricky wells in u.s.a.looks like he beat a few g.p. stars.will we see him back at sheffield next season ? hope so.

I agree with Third man,ive been going 51 years seen all the good and bad sides.I think next season if we are not competetive and changes are needed then it has to happen .Its ok been loyal but the fans are not going to support a team of losers after last season.I hope as we all do that the team gell and prove us all wrong.The team is a big gamble with 4 assessed averages,a 2nd string who achieved his average at reserve,wells should improve and hally who could have greg hancocks bikes and get no better.Not my first choice team selection but i will be there like the rest of us.Good luck lads,

newcastle,somerset scunny and workington look very strong.cant see sheffield been up there,too many question marks to start the season with.the gambles could go either way.hopefully they will be successful.need to win all home meetings but cant see that happening.time will tell.

some clubs have got to be more realistic with their pricing .families only have a certain amount of spare cash each month and if the clubs are competeing with football ,ice hockey,rugby,etc then they have got to be competetive.if the product is poor and meetings are drawn out then fans will soon turn their backs.

Last season wasnt entertaining,alot of meetings were boring.lets hope for better next season.

If richard halls form at home was that good why was he not used at no.5 and riding in heat 13 against the opposing heat leaders ? instead he was at no.4 riding in heat 14 a much easier heat therefore inflating his average !!!! this from a rider who stated at the start of the season that he wanted to be no.1.he achieved that having more easier races than the other heat leaders.will it be the same next season if him and wells sign.? personally iwould rather have dak north or heffenbrock.
