We could still sign Roynon after scunny meeting when hopefully we get new averages.If we don't then we may be sticking with what weve got .

after following Sheffield for 52 years,seen plenty of riders and team managers to have an idea of how team changes,i.e. who should take which r/r and what positions riders should be in the team.You don't need a degree.Along with probably half the supporters who attend every week.Our management cant even make the simple decisions.

We haven't had a good manager for years.At one of the s.t.a.r.r.s. meetings when interviewing steady he didn't know what average steady was starting on ? That doesnt give you much confidence before season starts so not surprised the way we make team decisions.Hally should be made to ride at 5 at home and switch with wellsy away.R/R at 3 or 4 in my opinion.We are not strong enough to keep putting 2 reserves out together.

Hope that forecast is wrong,wouldnt surprise me though way this season is going.!!!!

Team manager screwed up heat 8 koppe should have gone off gate 1and would hopefully have got a 5-1.In hindsight that would have won the meeting instead of drawing.10 heat winners at home and only draw,too many lasts cost us.Oh well lets move on and make sure facu and damo get thro Saturdays meeting and get their true averages so we can make the change.

Hope fac will be fit for Saturday because he MUST ride so we can make the changes !!!!!!!!!

Fine at moment.Had some heavy showers but forecast on bbc weather for Sheffield says going to be fine so fingers crossed.Think Lawson will strenghthen Plymouth,just hope track will be ok.Albin could be a big miss unless koppe can return the form he showed last week.

Still not convinced koppe and haines have turned the corner with their form and steady struggled the other week and not fully fit so not expecting much out of the meeting.I will just be happy to get the fixture out of the way so we can make changes.

I wouldn't worry too much about r/r this weekend as weve only got wellsy who will probably trouble your lads.I think steady will probably struggle with his injuries more round your place than he does at owlerton.Fancy a big defeat. !!!!!!!!!!

As a neutral I really enjoyed last nights meeting.A superb advert for speedway.Well done to all the riders involved.Hope tonights will be as good.

Hope koppe can keep that performance up for the rest of the season.still doesn't look comfy on the bike but who cares if he can score like that for the rest of the season.Great performance.

Is it still 6 home 6 away criteria ? If it is that then that doesnt leave too many meetings to make play offs, and if we keep getting hammered we will have a massive points difference !!!!!! Somehow we need to change team so fac is at reserve.Another worry is other riders getting injured at other clubs so the quality we want could be restricted.Other clubs will have picked the better riders up.We will have to see but im not optimistic.

I wouldnt worry too much because on current form you could replace morris with a conference rider and still win handsomely. If we make changes it will probably be july /august when its far too late knowing how our management react to team changing and then it will be our old hands.Expecting a couple of pastings at the weekend.

We need something sooner rather than later or our season will be over,but we dont want to go down the same old route of sanchez,ben wilson . benji.etc etc etc.If we make changes lets et somebody decent and proven.

Yes im aware of that and thats what i was implying.Probably sign a rider,redeclare then bring hally back when fully fit and redeclare again.Other teams seem to do it but we dont seem to do anything until its too late.After last season i thing our management team need to be seen to be pro active or crowds will drop alarmingly.I just want to see new riders coming in not the old brigade.

Saw this coming soon as we went for r/r/ we are not good enough to cover hally and carry 3 riders.Weve got points to play with but are doing nothing about it.Rumours of Benji compton coming back !!!!!!!!!!!! I will be suprised if we change riding order its not something our management prepare for,but if we do it could leave us weak in heat 14 when we usually building our momentum for the big finale.!!!!!!!!!!!

If the meeting is anything like last night it will be a cracker.Fancy comets to get revenge,probably by 12 to 14 points.Hope our lads can keep it tight but reserves may be the diference.

I was just suggesting as a tactical option which gave team managers a stratergy to work to as oppose to the Its a knock out gimic we currently have.Most speedway supporters dont like the rule but the BSPA think it works so who are we to change the rule.

I think we should go back to the old rule , 6 points down and put who you want in.Gave team managers something to be able to shuffle the pack instead of all this double points crap.
