Like to see woodward signed up,he looked well on the pace.Ricky looked well too last night and I think would have done better in last heat if he hadn't had about an hours break between heat 10 and 15.

Wouldn't mind andre back and bridger for hally.Bridger.haines,Wells,andre,Roynon,facu and koppe I would have thought ? Cant see andre at reserve on averages but wouldn't mind if he was.

Is that the new averages from 1st of august? Interesting to see how woodward does tonight. Whats his average ?

8 race winners and still lost !!! We had all the bad luck going.Lawson fast when gated slow at the back,Compton looked good early but lacked power later on,hally poor to start and then picked it up Roynon was awesome and scarey,sarjeant not rewarded for the effort he put in and facu had a decent performance.The points we dropped cost us big time.Cant see why rye are down at the bottom,theyve looked quite a tidy outfit on both visits.Nelson was top drawer again.

Thanks hoggy for your 2 posts,in reply to your 1st post im sorry but although I would love to turn out tonight and help you out my age is against me mate.After supporting Sheffield home and away for 52 years and witnessing good and bad times it upsets me to see the way it it going down hill in recent seasons.As regards jake thank him for the offer but I may damage the lads bike.I was not having a go at jake but when YOU dropped him he was down on confidence and not scoring points so I could not understand your logic to put him in tonight against a team who have alredy beat us at home when the lad has hardly rode since ? I appreciate it is difficult to replace steady or get guests but as you take our money each week we would all like to be kept upto date even if riders are turning you down.If you follow football coverage about transfers the supporters get excited whether they sign or not.It gets people talking.It creates interest.It is so flat at Sheffield.When your on the centre green tonight take a look around and see for yourself,im not the only one who thinks it.Read on here how many are not going tonight.Sorry if im passionate about my club but ive been following Sheffield longer than you've been involved at the club.Thanks for your second post it was very imformative.Good luck to the team tonight but I think it will be close,hope im wrong,

Just read hoggys comments on wanting to use jake tonight !!!!! WHY ? The lad has hardly rode since we dropped him and he was struggling then !!!!! Talk about lack of ambition.Lose tonight and Saturday and god knows what next weeks crowd will be.Good luck to james sarjeant tonight,lets hope he gets enough points to help us to victory.

Reading all the posts on here I don't think I will have to get there early tomorrow to get my usual spot !!!! I think we will get all the excuses in the star tomorrow morning .Understrength but the lads are up for it is the norm.Notice we still no nearer getting a number 1.Everybody else seems to find riders but we struggle.Oh well I will be there tomorrow if theres a meeting !!!!!!!!!

Looks like management losing interest now,cant be bothered to tell us the team for tomorrow.Going to be very tough without wells koppe and steady.Fancy another defeat.

We can wait forever because we lack ambition and tactical awareness !!!! Which other team would give a rider coming back from the injuries hes had and stick the poor lad at 5 and expect him to help our reserves ? Our season is over as usual before the end of july.As predicted by most supporters on here when the team was announced.It takes 7 riders to make a team and weve never looked solid from march.Hope adam can turn things round,good luck to the lad,he deserves it.Might do him good to ride Thursday in top gun,no pressure ?

Our management team are not strong enough.When you see Rossitter and Middlo on the sky matches you get the feeling they are really passionate and riders will try harder for these guys.Then you listen to radio Sheffield and our management and it just doesn't give you any inspiration.Their trouble is they let certain riders tell them what to do.To get the best out of any team you have to have a good motivating and tactical aware manager and we haven't.

Fantastic heat 15 from hally,a battling performance from the team but think we will get hammered on sunday because we cant gate consistently enough and that's what you need to do at brough park.I still think hally should ride at 5 at home because the ride he pulled off in heat 15 can be achieved in heat 13.We need to squeeze every point out of meetings.It would also make us stronger in other heats when he would be out with the reserves.Just my opinion but what do us fans know ??

Looking forward to seeing adams debut tonight,been out since april with head injuries so we put him straight into the no pressure role of carrying the reserves !!!!!!!!!! Marvellous.Good luck adam bet your glad you didn't get the easier no 4 role !!! If we are to progress to the final we don't need any passengers tonight.

Cant see any further than a Newcastle win over 2 legs.Richard Lawson didn't do too well other week when he guested at Sheffield,Adam roynon making his debut after weeks out with serious injury and hally out of form at present.Can see it being close at owlerton and getting hammered away.Anything else would be a pleasant surprise.

Think you can only have 1 double up rider from a club and weve got ricky wells.Smolinski would do a job if he fits.

Not going to be easy to replace steady,no rush due to lack of league fixtures.May as well go with guests next week for semi v Newcastle.Cant see us beating them anyway,but we must sort the league form.Just hope we don't look for a cheap and cheerful option as I cant see steady being cheap.

Seb alden can ride most tracks did well at Berwick . Don't want guests even though we could get some top guys.

Hope jake carries on in NL and makes progress.I think Sheffield management took the decision that one or two of the under performers could raise their game and turn their season round where as jake probably cant come up with the big scores when we need it.Feel sorry for the lad but it might make him come back stronger hopefully.Its now up to the new rider and the under performers to get their act together and rescue our season.Hally and Haines must be more consistant or the season is going to be over very soon.

Because they love the power !!!!!!!!!! Same in the winter they only announce riders on Thursdays in the star.No footy at moment so probably got space for our big signing.
