Plymouth,berwick and Glasgow are same as us with nothing to race for but still manage to attract riders.Look at our track and facilities compared to theirs.Are we really trying hard enough ? There should be a time scale on the use of guests for any 1 rider,probably 28 days.It is becoming an absolute farce.Sheffield select !!!!! How can the sport be taken serious ? Lack of ambition. Does palm toft still live in a caravan at scunny ? If so why would he prefer to sign for Plymouth when he could possibly ride for us a stones throw away ? On decent machinery he looks well capable replacement for haines.

Well I was hoping to be proved wrong but as I predicted 10 -12 points defeat.Track suited wellsy who put in a good performance.Olli put in plenty of effort but we were found wanting as usual at the gate.Good luck to adam and mitch with their injuries.Roll on the end of the season.

Fear the worst,Hammerred at somerset and wellsy had no bikes for heat 15.Not looking good.Fancy edinboro to win 10 -12 points

Think wellsy would be number 1 his average is almost a point more than adam.

At the start of the season our management team were concerned about our asset base so we signed 2 5point men and 1 3point man and turned them into 2 3point men and 1 1 1/2 point man.We had to wait till mid season to get the true averages while other teams got their meetings in and changed riders.We now have the 4 home 4 away an ideal chance to bring a new rider ( possibly a u21 lad from last weeks Berwick meeting) and blood them for next season.Tonight we are using a 7 point man to replace steady Why not get our own asset on a 7 average.The season is over and has been since steady got injured.Are we going to have the same start next season with the 4 home 4 away excuse.Other teams are doing it why don't we.?

Probably cheapest option knowing we going to get hammered anyway.Not too long ago we had a good record against somerset,now the gulf between us is vast.How times change !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thomas Jorgensen ? Surely this team is below minimum points limit ? So we cant get a higher average guest ? Fear the worst.

Wish both riders a speedy recovery.Would an air fence have prevented these injuries ?

Hope your wrong but don't think you will be to far out with that.We are not good business at most tracks this year,lets hope for better next season.

Good performance from the lads last night,some good racing and was pleasing to see them dig deep.Just wish we could put a bit more in away from home.Well done to all the team,

Think it will be close,expect to carry Branford so the others are under pressure to perform if we going to win.If facu had more power I think he would get more points.He gets in good positions to pass then goes backwards.Getting fed up of watching a Sheffield select every week.Wish we could get a couple of riders in.

I wasn't meaning albin and koppe ,just the likes of Sanchez,Hally,ben Wilson,jackobson etc.we always go down the same route.The injuries have decimated us this year but other teams have them and progress,we just stagnate.I know guests and r/r are the norm in speedway but to watch a Sheffield select every week is not what brings the fans in,how can anybody take the sport seriously ? The sky meetings are littered with more premier riders and r/r than elite league riders !!!!!!!!!

I doubt it very much that will happen.I feel we just riding the season out after all the bad luck weve had.I think we will just rely on guests and get season over a.s.a.p..We are not a club to make changes and look towards next season as proven in the past.Im not confident we will win tomorrow.Glasgows new signing seems to have settled in but we only stick with current assets which as we know are past their best.Its been another long season which is not good for Sheffield speedway.best we can hope for is next to bottom.

Sad to see another brit pack in,but to be fair joe has been struggling in a struggling team.The lads done brilliant to come back from the bad injuries hes had and well done for that .Hope what ever he does now he will be a success.On the other hand we need to replace him as soon as possible.Palm toft and woodward would do for me but cant see it happening.More like hall or sanchez back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rickys the main man away but when he misses the gate I think the Sheffield fans want to see him making an effort,last night he didn't seem to show any passion where as Lawson was really pumped and hes only guesting.I like Ricky because hes not a one track rider but for some reason he didn't seem to be on the pace.

Damo might need to do what he did a few weeks ago and have a blast round scunny and where ever else he went just to get a bit of fitness back.We need him to get back to where he was scoring big numbers again.

Superb performance from Lawson,cant believe how excited he was after heat 15 ! Very unusual to see a guest celebrate like he did.If hes that passionate guesting for us he needs to join us next season.Roynon was on fire too.awesome.Afew inconsistent performances from albin ,koppe and haines and wells was really poor.Dont think he wanted to be there last night,shame because hes got potential.

OK if he makes a gate,different rider when he doesn't a bit like joe haines.Be nice if he could win heat 1 tonight for a change.

Should be a good meeting ,hope all our lads are on top form.Like to have seen Ricky guest tomorrow as he was on fire last week.Good forecast for tomorrow so track should be good after all the rain its had today,hopefully.

Lawson to guest again.Our reserves need to improve on what they scored last time Newcastle came.Should be a good meeting.Our promoters on the ball naming our guest early.Still no news on new no.1

MPT for joe might be a good move.Feel sorry for joe though,when he gates he looks really quick but doesn't seem to be on the pace when last.Probably something to do with all the injuries hes had.Its a shame because he was such a good young talent.As for getting a new number 1 !!!!!!!!!!!!

We need a number 1,guests are ok for a couple of meetings but not for rest of season,We need to get back to a regular 1-7.Plenty of meetings next month so could do with sorting before next Thursday if possible.Is there a cut off date for signings in august or is that only for teams that might win something to stop glory hunting?
