Kings Lynn v Ipswich 4th September
Roger Jacobs replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The quote is from Hawkins. BTW, it's "when it affects you" Although you could say "when it has an effect on you" -
No matter whether he figured it out, Gollob told John Louis that he didn't like the Monmore track.

Full of anticipation and excitement ... I could turn up for this too. I might annoy someone by standing in "their" spot. -
Highlighted wording is what I referred to. Of course, what I didn't think about was that CHolder's average is in excess of Ellis', so I guess that means the Sheffield redeclaration has to be below 39.00 - so that's why Vissing was chosen, and he's cheerfully on 4.00 (although I thought his most recent Prem average is 4.43?).
-
The 39.00 limit only applies for initial team building. For subsequent changes, weaker teams can build up to 39.00, while re-declarations for stronger teams must be lower than their existing total.
-
The point (sic) is that someone else had to be dumped with Ellis to enable the signing of CHolder.

No. At the start of the season King raised his own hopes, and hasn't responded. Fair enough that he's much or a muchness, alongside other such riders, but I'm sure even King himself would accept that he's not done as well as expected. -
Wolves v Witches Monday 21st Aug
Roger Jacobs replied to Badge's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
But that is a let down, given that he was full of himself at the start of the season, with statements about challenging the top two. He should have had the pressure off with Doyle and Sayfutdinov leading the way, but failed to respond. -
He was much better than that last season - just goes to show how different it might have been in the 2022 Final if he had scored just 9 from 5 - that would have shut up all the whingers.
-
Maybe like for like, but there was no mention of Laguta in the decision to call off the meeting ... Ipswich could have insisted KL ride, or demanded a forfeit - I wonder if they did?
-
Witches well and truly shafted by KL's lack of team ...

King's Lynn v Ippo 17/08/23
Roger Jacobs replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Why should there be any sanctions? It's not their fault they have a number of injuries, and there isn't much choice for guests. -

No - although they have arranged a Wednesday afternoon banger destruction derby, with orders to hit the pit gate as hard as possible. -

Lawson has better record on countback, i.e. 1 win and 3 second places. Head-to-head is only when countback is the same.
