Some mistake here, surely. This thread should be in the Championship section of the Forum -

Said this many times, speedway needs to follow the road taken by darts, snooker, boxing by getting riders to have nicknames - not the boring predictable type but put a bit of thought into it. Secondly, there arn't enough villains who can get the crowd fired up and booing. It's all got far too nice. -

I bet the price increase has been dictated by the landlord now taking a cut from the catering sales. Into Mr Hemsley's pocket I suspect - but i'm sure he'd use it to help pay whats owed to his creditors. -

I hear most people in Leicester already talk with their feet. -
Is it too late now for Leicester and Sheffield to swop leagues?

Bring back the Hemsleys. Shouldn't have changed the track it's been made far too friendly for away teams. -
Sounds like they're getting bigger
-
It's easy to get them mixed up.

When a vacancy arises.

I think Graversen should be allowed to ride in the NL the rest of this season, if he wants to. Probably invested in new equipment after a year out and now been completely kippered.

Usually works best when the team manager has past associations with a club.Maybe it's time for Hemsley & Hemsley to step in and work their motivational magic.

Reserves will decide this one -
The poor lad. Used as cannon fodder.
-
Wonderful news. Now there is just one Pole left. Come on Poole, do the right thing for British speedway and show him the exit door.
-
You should stick with the current team they are doing great, no need to make any changes, don't panic!!
-
Simple. Bl**ding obvious
-
The lad's been impressing with his boxing skills again has he?

Ok, final input from me on this. For stevebrum and others. Reason: prioritise giving Brits employment over Australians especially those having 2 jobs or of lower ability, and over Poles due to their country's recent increased protectionist moves meaning we need to take retaliatory action. Brits currently available for work (either one job or an additional job); Jacobs, Neilsen, Sarjeant, Garrity, Kerr, Lawson, Bridger (there may be others) Two-job Australians: J.Holder, J.Grazjonek, S.Masters Poles: K.Kasprzak, K.Gomolski, A.Skornicki Lower ability Australians: M.Campton, T.Kurtz (there may be others) Also arguable that lower ability EU riders could be included but only after the above have been dealt with. Cheerio

I would be pleased to continue, but think it's now time to transfer to the thread in the General discussions section of the Forum. Hamish

Very much so, although I'd recommend Garrity and Kerr instead.

I see Leicester have developed some backbone and done the right thing by King and Bates. This country has become a soft pushover, too much sentimentality around, and this seems to be epitomised around Monmore Green and other places. When I was shown the door by Kenya after building and running a business, it was a case of get out now, you take nothing with you. I didn't moan about it, its life and now in my 80's I'm still farming and farting.
-
Well done Leicester. Lebedevs may as well be a Pole and they should no longer be welcome in British speedway. Also riders who aren't honest about their other commitments when signing should be shown the door. Two Brits now with extra jobs, great stuff. Now Wolves, Somerset, Poole and Peterborough, Workington and Sheffield need to give their teams a good hard look and make some pro-British decisions.
-
If you don't fancy Kingy there's always Garrity. Kingy can then go to Somerset (instead of Grazjonek) or to Poole (instead of Kasperjak). I'd suggest Leicester also (instead of Gomolski) but don't think he'd be allowed to.

Sounds like youre a right bunch of woolly liberal do-gooders. Put your Nation first.
