That is one the main problems with the sport. If people don't know about it then they are not going to either watch or take up the sport.Why do clubs have such big adverts in the Speedway Star? Why not try Fast Bikes, Trials & Motocross News etc. If someone is reading the SS then they are already aware of the sport.

Unless it's a Magnum engine they won't fit. If it is a Max engine with electronic ignition then it might be possible to fit Boyer ignition. Most Goddens from the '80s though use points to trigger the box so space might be a problem.

How do you work that out? 2 large, heavy valves are much harder to control than 4 lightweight valves and end up putting more strain on the rest of the valve gear resulting in a shorter lifespan. There are still many riders who carry out there own maintenance on engines just as in 'the good old days of JAPs' that many riders used tuners.

All riders should be made to sign a contract stating that they have no ambition.

I like to follow rallying as well. Main competitions are the World Rally Championship and the European Rally Championship. If only there was a way to differentiate between the two, maybe the names of the championships for instance....

I also have some family members who had never been to speedway before the new track opened. They enjoy it and are regulars now. Why should someone with the brain the size of a pea have any input into any decisions?
