That's got to be one of the dumbest posts of the year. The Poole promotion would have known what their riders other commitments were at the time of contract negotiations. As for it being a two bit tournament it just shows your complete ignorance of the sport.
Don't matter what bike a rider has got if the ability isn't there or been developed. There's lots of kids in the MDL with good bikes but they haven't learnt how to make the most of them yet. Some will, some wont. Where do you think all the second hand engines go that the EL & PL riders sell?
I could see your point on that if the Elite League was well organised and Britain had a pool of riders that are the same calibre as Tai. As it is Poland and Sweden are better options for riders at the top of the game.
So how many riders should be involved in racing at a 16 rider plus 2 reserve event? Maybe riders other than the big stars like the chance to race at events like the Ben Fund meeting?
And how financially healthy is speedway in Poland? There's only 3 teams that pay the riders on time and the Micky Mouse one from Grunberg isn't one of them.
