  1. Plus more meetings for actual fans to watch.
  2. How? If the MCF hire tracks that are owned by speedway promoters such as Leicester, Rye House, Scunny then they would be boosting the the finances of those businesses.
  3. No they haven't. The toilets and offices were in place before Elliots became sponsors and were still there last Sunday as were the hospitality boxes.
  4. Who's being ripped off? Any fans have a choice about attending or not.
  5. Yeah it's shocking that a business should want to make money.
  6. I was lazy today and didn't get there until about 1. About 3 PL riders there, Kerr, Schram and Starke. No the air fence was not used, that was put into storage at the end of the season.
  7. The track was good and plenty of riders were there.
  8. And the fat Greek wonders why he gets into so many arguments when he goes to away tracks. With an attitude like his it's obvious why.
  9. Well I presume Leicester Speedway are running it. I know they've asked an ex rider to help out with the coaching.
  10. Yes he has. He flew out on new years day. He'll be in Australia for about 6 weeks.
  11. I've been to Lakeside a lot over the last two seasons and seen some good meetings there. When I went in 2005/6 the racing was almost nonexistent. Since the new promotion have come in it has been transformed in terms of entertainment. Like all tracks, a few meetings are excellent, some good and some mediocre.
  12. Anyone got any ideas as to what satellite system I need to receive the Polish channels that show speedway?
  13. A fair few lower end riders do have jobs outside of speedway. At the end of the day though a rider in a professional sport should be able to make enough money during the season to support themselves. Maybe promoters should actually work harder to get more punters through the gates rather than constantly trying to reduce their outgoings? Luckily for you enough riders do take up the challenge of riding speedway otherwise you would not have any to watch.
  14. You certainly do have the right to express an opinion. It's just that it gets a bit boring and tedious when it's the same thing repeated over and over again. As for the timing of the track alterations being done early to allow the team members time to get used to it, how many of next years team are in the country? Only Jan and Lewis Kerr. The rest won't be back until March apart from possibly Blackbird. Plenty of time for the track to bed down and them to get some practice.
  15. It has been explained by both the club and the bloke doing the work why it is scheduled to be done in February. If you don't want to come across as someone with a mental disorder then stop constantly making posts like a person suffering from OCD.
  16. Do you have some form of mental disease that causes you to obsess about things that don't really involve you?
  17. Isn't the Dutch Championship traditionally an 'open championship' and therefor open to riders from other countries? Maybe if it runs next year then some English riders could go out and further their experience. It's quite easy to get there even from from some random small, backward hick village such as Hinckley for example.
  18. At least he's made more of a contribution than you ever will.
  19. Exactly my point Glyn. I think Gem missed the irony of my post. You missed the suspension tuning before the M/X bike is even put on track. 350-3000 depending on the level of competition. How many cylinder heads are needed on a CRF250 each season due to poor design, 2 or 3?
  20. Seems to be quite a few switching from almost free to ride motocross to this sport with unaffordable running costs
