  1. No. You need to buy an ACU licence and then when you have that you can get your SCB Permit and away you go.
  2. The track was much better when SKY covered the GPs.
  3. It was Terry Harrison. The accident was at Olivers Mount.
  4. Can you tell the rest of us what happened to your brain?
  5. I presume the medical staff at the asylum help him.
  6. Colin wasn't the track curator, he installed the safety fence and supplied the air fence. He was there Saturday sorting something out to do with the air fence in relation to the up coming flat track meeting.
  7. I think you need medical help as you seem to be suffering from angry man syndrome. As said by Philip Rising, it would need someone to take total control of the sport and run it in a dictatorship type of way. very difficult to achieve but there must be someone in marketing who has some beneficial ideas that are realistic.
  8. It was a bit dull last night racing wise. Hopefully the closeness of the scores kept it interesting for the fans.
  9. When did Cookie take it easy last night? He missed the gate in one race against Nieminen and passed him on the 2nd turn.
  10. The SWC race off is the same day as an Edinburgh meeting. If, hypothetically, Cookie was representing GB in that meeting and missing the PL match, would he be dedicated to British speedway? After all he would be riding abroad and not over here in front of his home fans.
  11. I'm not too familiar with the area, but i believe the speedway stadium is in the City of Leicester so I suppose the description of Leicester City is quite accurate.
  12. So why is it dumb ass? It was a serious suggestion. You have stated you have an interest in speedway but are not bothered about the types of bike used and wish to see a cheaper form of the sport. Cycle speedway probably fits your ideal.
  13. So someone like Craig Cook shouldn't be allowed to double up in case he gets selected for the World Cup and has to miss an Edinburgh fixture?
  14. Well go and watch cycle speedway then. No complicated internal combustion engines to baffle you there.
  15. It gets large crowds abroad and the Indoor World Championship round at Sheffield has always been full. It's certainly 'different' compared to normal speed type motorcycle racing.
  16. It's still worth promoting the sport in the more mainstream motorcycle press though. It's mainly people who have an interest in bikes that watch trials, but you don't see many Gas-Gas, Montesas or Fantics being ridden on the road.
  17. Sunny with a few clouds 1.5 miles from the stadium.
  18. It was posted on Facebook TUESDAY 23rd that the meeting announced for the 27th would not be going ahead. No I didn't ask what was going on at the meeting as I wasn't there and had no reason to be.
  19. And you guessed incorrectly. Several other key staff had booked other things for this weekend once we were knocked out of the KOC & LC.
  20. Well it's not 'far fetched' if it actually happened is it? When/if you go again, try facing the noisy area of the stadium. That is the bit with the motorbikes racing round.
  21. Well open your feckin eyes next time you go then. Another example even with my poor memory was Makinen passing an opposing rider in a nice move on the 1st and 2nd bend. Seen a fair few others as well.
