Leicester Vs Rye House 11/8
Long Eye replied to lionking's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I don't suppose the management were aware that Nieminen was going to crash in heat 3 and injure his shoulder. If only they had some form of time machine to see into the future. Total oversight by the management again. -

That's disgusting behavior. I hope they are publicly executed on the centre green at the next match. -
World Longtrack Gp
Long Eye replied to stevec's topic in Grasstrack, Sidecar, Short Track and Cycle Speedway
It's being held at the speedway track. The FIM reduced the minimum length of longtracks to 350m to allow this track to be used. -

Which explains why there are inconsistencies in the engines he does. -
On the thread title. Muppet!

That is one the main problems with the sport. If people don't know about it then they are not going to either watch or take up the sport. Why do clubs have such big adverts in the Speedway Star? Why not try Fast Bikes, Trials & Motocross News etc. If someone is reading the SS then they are already aware of the sport.

Unless it's a Magnum engine they won't fit. If it is a Max engine with electronic ignition then it might be possible to fit Boyer ignition. Most Goddens from the '80s though use points to trigger the box so space might be a problem.

When someone is as obsessed and as pedantic as you are with rules and regulations, then they will never enjoy what they are watching.
-
Many Leicester fans manage to cope with the current rules despite the club closing in 1983 and many not coming back until 2011.

So what sort of guarantee do you think he's on? If he gets one, and it's a big if, then it might be the equivalent of 3 points so something in the region of 90-120 quid. Not exactly a fortune and would still mean that he would be losing money each time he races for Leicester. If you ever speak to him you'll find he's keen to do well for the team.

Can you post a picture? The bearing that you'll need will most likely be a 6007 2RS C3.

Ipswich V Edinburgh 25/7/13

Maybe Cookie isn't into that sort of thing and Barker should leave his personal fetishes at home? -
How do you work that out? 2 large, heavy valves are much harder to control than 4 lightweight valves and end up putting more strain on the rest of the valve gear resulting in a shorter lifespan. There are still many riders who carry out there own maintenance on engines just as in 'the good old days of JAPs' that many riders used tuners.

All riders should be made to sign a contract stating that they have no ambition.

Well the fans are just as thick.
