Poor team with a weak top 5 & excessive 10 points on reserves. One decent five point reserve (Bates) is enough. Should have gone with: King Bjerre Bjerre Garrity Kylmakorpi Perks Bates
-
You are quite the charmer!
-
Isn't Zach on 2.63 from Somerset this year?
-
Nope, they don't fit. Jack Smith instead of Wajknecht would.
-
a stutterer?
-
No, that wouldn't work. British builders only average four hours a day!
-
He might .......if he set off now
-
Yes, but the problem is that you're doom & gloom with every team that's put forward. The averages & the points limit are what they are so just get over it! It's just speedway, not life & death.
-
Need to try harder to get Batch & Masters rather than Wright & Tungate.
-
.... he should've cleared the track!
-
Just check the Poole stats. Adam was second in their home averages at 7.73, beating Hans Andersen, & even at number 2 there are hard races. He just needs to get that at Blunsdon & improve on his away 4.95.
-
I like the Rye team. Probably unbeatable at home on their tricky little track as long as Watt & Robbo are up for it. Away from home though is a different matter as none of them are gaters or particularly fast.
-
Can't see why everyone's moaning. Any of those teams & we'll be fine. Maybe a little behind Poole & Wolves but better than Rye House & Coventry.
-
KK is normally excellent at Wimborne Road but he's unpredictable elsewhere & will be rubbish at Wolves & Rye. He's a bit flaky & mentally It will all come down to his Polish form.
-
Nothing wrong with Klindt on his average, especially after his Leicester performances. He could put two points on! Can't you see that?
-
And Danny King was the worst of the regular heat 15 riders! And will be in heat 13 too next season!
-
Yes, you're right on every level. Troy's 29 going on 14, but 2016 was an injury comeback & he did well in Denmark. Just a year ago he was mixing it pretty well in the GPs & he owes it to himself to prove everyone wrong. For years Doyle seemed to crash every meeting & no way could you see him overtaking Chris Holder on the world stage, let alone being the world champion elect. But it just shows what application can do. Even at an inflated 7.36 he's one of few riders who could put a point on it. In the past his races against Chris Harris & teaming up with Leigh Adams have been among the highlights at Blunsdon. It could be Troy's last chance to look at himself & make Leigh proud.
-
Looking at the lack of top end riders, Somerset, KL & Leicester should be fighting over Chris Holder. If they don't get him, the Rebels might be left with strength in depth: Masters Kerr Hougaard Batchelor Grajczonek Heeps Wilson-Dean
-
Assuming we keep Nick Morris (& on his average I doubt the ruthless Matt Ford would, but we probably will) it's a straight choice between a strong top 5/weak reserve or a weaker top 5/stronger reserve, e.g. Doyle, Bellego, Ellis, Batchelor, Morris, Bacon/Smith, Wajknecht or Doyle, Roynon, Ellis, Bellego, Morris, Bacon/Smith, Wilson-Dean Batchelor in for me! Or Doyle, Bellego, Ellis, Klindt, Morris, Bacon/Smith, Dan Bewley
-
Fair point, but I doubt that Danny rode many heat 13s & 15s this year and I can't see him winning crucial races, especially if an away team gets an 8-1 in heat 11 or 12. Having said that, the Bees should have good strength in depth.
-
That's a good point and good luck to Coventry but what you'll be lacking is a true Number 1. Kylmakorpi isn't one but him rather than Garrity is a must.
-
You'll have a team of reserves!
-
Oh OK, so are Poole: KK Newman Kurtz Holder Andersen Shanes Klindt 49.62 Swindon could have: Doyle Bellego Ellis Batchelor Morris Bacon/Smith Wajknecht Pretty even

Was that the year of Johnno for Risager?
