  1. Sorry, my mistake. I thought he dropped to reserve with Scunthorpe this year after he was sacked by Ipswich. Anyway, I like him. BWD is though only a little behind Kerr & Jake Allen. He can gate and overtake.
  2. I think Wilson-Dean is at least as good as Andersen, has much more experience of English tracks & will be happier & more committed as a home based rider. And cheaper too!
  3. Yes, but Poole & Coventry have pretty much have three old PL reserves too. Klindt was a reserve, Newman would have been if Simota wasn't so poor & Shanes didn't even get into a PL team. Kerr & Sarj were reserves & I think Bates may have dropped down too. At least Swindon have a top four with proven 2016 records. Coventry are relying on Garrity staying fit, old Bjerre being bothered & young Bjerre rediscovering himself.
  4. BWD signed by Swindon, with priority http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.31665.2
  5. BWD announced. http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.31665.2
  6. So crappy filler Dane Jan Graversen can come back in on a 3.7 (or 4) average, & do Matt Williamson out of a PL place, but an exciting new under 21 Dane who might serve the league for another fifteen years has to be a 7 average! Madness. If new foreigners have to come in on a 7, all existing ones should be made a 7 too! But of course that would affect Matt Ford's Klindt, wouldn't it.
  7. How about spelling? And, there was no argument!
  8. Oh dear, will you never learn? No apostrophe in "all's". Regards, Dick Touchy
  9. No worries. I put JPB in rather than Smith to avoid three Glasgow double uppers.
  10. If so, we'll take Bradley Wilson-Dean & have priority over Boro.
  11. No, don't agree. All the riders listed could ride in a 45 point team & for every retiree/stay away there is a new rider coming in (e.g. all the new 2 pointers, new foreigners & Jan Graverson).
  12. 150 riders listed in the averages & only 133 needed for the 19 teams, so on the face of it one league is achievable!
  13. Is he? Some seem to believe he will get a 2.5% new Brit discount, making 3.90.
  14. It wouldn't be fair. If the top nine riders in this year's averages signed as the nine number ones, Swindon would get Doyle on 9.58 (13.41) & the last team, say Leicester, Fricke on 7.08 (9.92). They'll just come in on their proper averages, e.g. Holder on 8.95 could replace Jason if Jason achieved above that figure after 4H&A
  15. Fricke 9.92 Worrall 8.49 Worrall 8.47 Batchelor 7.36 Cook 9.83 JPB 2 Bewley 3.90? 49.97 Power-packed top 5 & adequate reserves. A sort of Glasgow on steroids!
  16. Think you're underestimating Belle Vue if they get Bewley. He will allow the team excellent strength in depth with a top 5 better than Coventry.
  17. Us know it alls know there's no apostrophe in know it alls. Sorry, just saying.
  18. To be fair, most of Rye's team will be subsidised by the winter fuel allowance.
  19. That's the problem. Too weak in the 1-5.
