Chris will never ride for Poole again. He hates them.

Good point, Steve. Chris Holder was totally in the right, he's far more experienced than Muddlo, Hans Andersen and Kasprzak so the whole Poole team should be fined, docked points and banned for nine months!

Poole Vs Rye House Thurs 10/8/17

You see, that's the difference between us, Swindon fans don't have a win at all costs mentality. If we lose we'll do so with good grace and look forward to next season. For us, our 11 match winning run, whooping Poole time and time again, is win enough! -
Would you like Matt Ford in charge, KKS?
-
Totally agree. Natalie and Steve are streets ahead of Keith Hewen (?) and the Sky female presenters and the overall presentation and graphics are excellent. Point taken though about some poor camera work.

How do Swindon compare since Musielak was signed? And has their average been inflated by meeting other teams when they were weakened? Regardless, the average score is irrelevant if, for example, Swindon always get thrashed at Monmore, or come the play offs someone is injured or off form or there are freak track conditions.

That's Richie's 28 days over then, so either Brady or R/R on Wednesday?

No doubt Poole's mantra from the last ten years will be that success breeds success but the rest of us know that their constant fiddling, sharp practice, disloyalty to riders and hoarding of "assets" has been to the detriment of the sport. None of Belle Vue's fame was built on that! -

KK to score an 18 point max, Harris and Nicholls another 18 and 12 from Robbo, Wells and Barker. Poole 42 Rye House 48 -
So will the BSPA fine Peterborough double any fee they receive from Torun for allowing Jack to race for them or is their press statement hot air for the fans?

The asset system is stupid. A rider rides eight matches and becomes an asset, meaning another club has to buy him or pay a loan fee; why? What has the club actually done for the rider? -

Poole 2010 was the most dominant team we have seen (until it came to the play off final), topping the league with 78 points and finishing 17 points clear of the second team. They won all 16 home meetings but only 7 away. Swindon 2017 have already won 7 away and have won 11 matches consecutively. -
Sorry, Wolves, but I hope the princes of darkness win this just so Swindon can top the league cos the play offs can be a lottery! Feel sick saying it though!
-
Yep, that's basically it, Nero Ford can't fiddle any longer while his team burns!
-
Blimey, Grachan, it's the year that ends in a 7 too! You were a visionary!

A couple of random pre-season predictions!

At least one league would do away with doubling up, other than having NL riders at reserve. -

Swindon were effectively giving away 3 points to the other teams when they signed Doyle on 13.41 but now they sit top of the table with 10 straight wins? Which team comes close in recent years? For me, not Coventry 2007 because they relied heavily on Olly Allen's R/R and Poole 2008 and Wolves 2009 benefitted from Holder and Woffinden stepping up on false averages, the exact opposite of Doyle's. Then there's the great Poole 2010 side, run away table toppers, but thrashed by Coventry in the final. Since then, much of a muchness. So step forward Swindon 2017, the best of all! -
Hope so, but for me this will be a close call because I can't see Musielak liking the Rye track.
-
You've got one ................. Swindon!

And Brad WD.

No, not his carer, and not a hot head either.

Orion was remarking on the rule and BV fans' attitude to it, not the injury.

Ellis Perks for one. But what have Poole actually ever done for him? -

No need to have groups, just have one long list of riders. Bottom team picks first and top team eighth and keep going until the teams are full. You could have a fixed pay scale with the first rider picked by each team paid the most, down to the seventh paid the least. Assets should be ignored. Alternatively, if fans want continuity of teams, each team could be allowed to keep four riders from the previous season and then start the pick.
