  1. So, we're the best team of the last thirty years! Swindon 2017, will we ever see the like again?
  2. And the league winners are ...... SWINDON!!!!! Who'd have thought it!
  3. Rye now 1 point behind Poole with a home match in hand & their last two home matches are Swindon & Leicester. Will Swindon have a say in who finishes fourth?
  4. So that leaves about 18 points for the two reserves!!!
  5. Wolves can get 67 points & we currently have 63 so we will finish top if we beat them at home on Thursday (or Rye away on Friday or Wolves away on Monday). Good play off practice racing Rye & Wolves!
  6. With all these four pointers and Matt re-signing a couple from this season's dross is next year's limit 25 points?
  7. Or ......... Poole could just be rubbish yet again!
  8. Here's a 2008 article on Hans Nielsen, mentioning the unbeaten 1986 team, when he averaged a perfect 12 away! http://www.oxfordmail.co.uk/sport/othersport/speedway/2226999.SPEEDWAY__Nielsen_regret_at_Oxford/
  9. Doolan would fit for BWD if you're allowed +5% for a reserve like a team member; otherwise Kyle Newman if fit & not riding for Ipswich or try Douglas, Pickering or Campton. Or Auty, always tries hard.
  10. Joint record holders now for most successive wins so one more makes us the best team ever!
  11. Out of interest, we could have had Doolan to replace BWD.
  12. Agreed, Buster's no PR man, which is what the Chairman should be. He seems introverted, caught up in petty sniping at riders, managers and promoters, rather than rising above that and promoting the sport.
  13. Hmmmm, Buczkowski was in the top ten of the Ekstraliga averages and he turned out to be rubbish.
  14. I know. It's pathetic. You should see the shocking Poole team we've had to thrash three times this year.
  15. Wolves in away win scare! Hang on, let me check that KL team .......
  16. Yes, loads. Count them on the list of riders' averages published at the start of the season.
  17. ........... who said that??? Oh, Steve. Couldn't hear you all the way down there in FOURTH!
  18. He's had the same "breakthrough" in Poland as Woryna! Just goes to show that driven by big bucks and easy tracks in Poland doesn't translate to big points in crappy England!
  19. If only the overpaid footballers had double-headers and five matches a week it could all be over within three months rather than the interminable ten now! And they could do nine months community service. Thought you would advocate one night so Mrs Lambert has six to do the housework?
  20. Jack Holder started this year on an effective average of 5.11 but now he's 5.69 so I wouldn't be so sure of Woryna putting on 2.35.
  21. OK, maybe you're right, but Woryna will do well to average 6 from 4.65 & Kildemand could make 8.5 from 7.1.
  22. Derrr, who d'ya think are gonna replace your shower when you go down!
