That’s too open to abuse. Woffinden (or any of the others) could go through the motions and get themselves even lower averages for next year. Better that every GP rider has a minimum of 8 whilst a GP rider. It’s already crazy that those three, Zagar and Chris Holder have an average below Nick Morris.
If PK is available:
Doyle
Jack Holder
Ellis
Musielak
Kildemand
Nielsen
Wajknecht
Or just to annoy Poole:
Doyle
J Holder
Musielak
C Holder
Kildemand
Wajknecht
Clegg
I’d like to see us stick by our assets whether or not it’s the best possible team, something like:
Doyle
Newman
Ellis
Bellego
Musielak
Nielsen
Wajknecht
Wouldn’t it have made more sense for Wolves, BV and Swindon to have each made one of their 8 pointers available and then if not offered a contract by another club within 14 days to have been allowed to be retained by their club? Surely that could still be done?
Ah, how times have changed at Poole: last season mercenary Matt wouldn’t touch Chris Holder with a barge pole; now he’s desperate to sign him up cos Poole have no one else!
Kurtz
Ellis
Batchelor
Holder
Holder
Shanes
Woryna
is about the best Poole could do to 42. Much of a muchness. Certainly couldn’t get Janowski and have Woryna at reserve.
Doubt it. Brady was seventh in this year’s averages, only behind the top two at Swindon, Wolves and Belle Vue, so I doubt Poole will be able to accommodate another rider with an average bigger than 8.08 if they want to start with Woryna at reserve, especially if both Holders are included.
Err, no. It will assist fans by removing same night fixtures for the PL and the CL, meaning that your team’s doubling up riders are available to ride for your team rather than having to ride for their Championship team. A massive improvement.
I disagree with you. Regardless of whether fixed race nights attracts more foreign riders (GP or otherwise) it should stop club clashes for the doubling up riders, which itself will be a major improvement.
