  1. Hmmmmm can see Stefan hitting 6.5 and becoming Poole number 1! Time for Rosco to recall him.
  2. For me, I would accept that this season is about loyalty to riders, entertainment and making the play offs, but we’re not good enough to win it. I’d keep Jack Smith only if he becomes an asset. Otherwise I’d replace him with someone who could, such as Flint, Jenkins or Kemp. Alternatively, if we want to win the league, we should replace Bellego and Smith with Rasmus Jensen/Mark Riss and Stefan Nielsen (recalling him from Poole and ruining their rubbish team) Morris Jensen/Riss Ellis Batchelor Musielak Wajknecht Nielsen
  3. Extended hours tonight at Bournemouth Pier for Pirates fans ......
  4. The Poles might be worth 6 each at home but I wouldn’t expect too much from Stefan on his home debut. He can be hit and miss, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see him at 4.5 by the end of the season, above Szzzzpaniak.
  5. In a surprising admission Peter Snow admits that his Smugometer may not be working properly: Up to and including Monday, May 14, 2018 M W D L 4W 3W D 1L L F A Pts 1 Wolverhampton 5 4 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 257 193 13 2 Swindon 6 2 0 0 1 1 0 0 2 275 264 13 3 Belle Vue 6 4 0 0 0 0 0 0 2 280 260 12 4 Rye House 6 3 0 0 0 0 0 0 3 242 298 9 5 Leicester 4 2 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 195 165 7 6 King's Lynn 4 2 0 0 0 0 0 1 1 187 173 7 7 Somerset 5 1 0 0 0 0 0 2 2 205 245 5 8 Poole 6 1 0 1 0 0 0 2 2 248 291 5
  6. Loving all the Poole ducking and diving and keeping this average or dropping that, but let’s face it, you’re doomed.
  7. No worries, reeling a bit cos your world beaters actually got a league point last night.
  8. Can’t remember if Jack Smith is a BV or Glasgow asset but if he could become a Swindon asset I’d be happy to write off a season or two challenging for the title just to bring him on, like we’re doing to an extent with Zach.
  9. Can’t see a Rye getting anything out of this against the mighty pre-season favourites: 90 - 0
  10. This is a great one for all speedway fans to get involved with, a sponsored walk for one of the nicest guys in speedway who needs our help: http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/16223249.Robins_to_raise_funds_for_injured_rider_Davey/?ref=mr&lp=13
  11. Good for you Poole Keith! You put the other Poole fans to shame.
  12. Looks like Matt has his finger on the pulse of riders who are going backwards.
  13. Hmmmm only a Poole fan could say that Richie Worrall’s 4 point home score in the second division was not bad! Mind you, not bad compared to Poole’s drivel this year
  14. Apparently Chris Holder has now managed to resolve the annoying glitch in his visa application and he’s been authorised to ride for Somerset
  15. And yet you see, that’s everything that’s wrong with Poole. Instead of this ludicrous cut throat attitude of winning at all costs, you should stick by your riders and accept a bad spell or even a bad season and get a bit of loyalty. How many times will you sign the likes of Grajczonek, Sundstrom, Howarth, Newman and Shanes and then sack them at the drop of a hat? It’s about time riders stood up to Matt and said “no thanks, I don’t want to ride for you” ........ oh, hang on, they are!
  16. Konopka might fit if his CL average is 3. Or go for a Brit, Tom Bacon who’s done well at Boro.
  17. Nah, you sign duds, not dudeks.
  18. Damed? You and Shovlar in panto this year?
  19. Swiderski? It’s getting worse! Happy Days.
  20. Lol of course Shovvy can say that, he is the king of balloney!
  21. The two over hyped Poles are doing no better than Joe Jacobs and Ellis Perks could have done with some encouragement. What a waste of money and British talent.
