This severely weakens the Lions. What should have been almost certainly a fairly routine away win has now turned into one of Poole’s few home bankers. Poole have always been a lucky team.
Good news, if it’s true, that Stefan Nielsen returns for Scunthorpe next week.
Rosco did ask for suggestions about replacing Jack Smith so here’s one:
replace Smith and Wajtknecht (CL combined average of 8.48)
with Stefan Nielsen and James Sarjeant (CL combined average of 11.31).
Not saying we should do it, but it is an option.
I want others to do the work for me? You’re the one who’s asked me to set up a Just Giving page! Why haven’t you done it? Or anyone else associated with Poole?
You might both recall the efforts of Swindon and Birmingham to raise money for Mitchell Davey and yet not a single Poole supporter or club official appears to have put his hand in his pocket for Stefan Nielsen.
It’s a disgrace.
Well, you’re a Poole sponsor, aren’t you, with direct access to the club, so why not give Matt Ford a call today and tell us what he says?
To the speedway world it seems that he doesn’t care one bit about a rider who broke his leg riding for the club!
Just a small thing, but how about allowing each team two proper practice heats before the match starts?
That would help with set ups, identify any track problems and allow the shale to move out a little for better racing.
Starting this thread a little early as there’s sure to be a lot of interest in this play-off decider.
It’s a real six pointer. Can BV get one of the away wins they need a stop Swindon getting a home win?
