  1. If Rosco saw a BSPA riders' average list that included the ridiculously low ones being applied to L Bjerre, Barker, Busk Jacobsen and Rasmus Jensen, what made him think Lampart was a good signing on 4.56?
  2. No, Jensen isn't an extreme example; look at the paltry PL averages being given to Ben Barker and Lasse Bjerre, who must have ridden twice as many top flight matches as Wajtknecht. Totally wrong.
  3. Would Starke be 5 (his 2017 PL average) or 3.92 (his 2018 CL average converted back on 1.5)? Was a full list of averages supplied to all promoters before riders were signed?
  4. But it’s plain stupid to say that a PL to CL conversion rate of 1.5 will be applied to PL riders to discourage them from doubling up in the CL and yet allow the rate in reverse to allow CL riders who have had experience in the PL be brought back into the PL on lower averages. So a 2018 PL reserve like Wajtknecht, who is doing his best to progress, now has to face CL heat leaders riding at reserve for another team. That can’t be right. Rasmus Jensen is anotherer example. He has a CL average of 6.59 (compared to Wajtknecht’s CL average of 5.19) but could come in to a PL reserve berth on a paltry 4.39 (compared to Wajtknecht’s genuine PL average of 4.37). How is that fair to 2018 PL riders? Just wrong.
  5. On paper the likes of Bjerre and Barker should 5-1 Zach and James. Rosco has to give Zach a mindset of gating and winning heat 2 every time. It has to be his heat. And Lampart/Ellis similarly in heat 8.
  6. Don’t be too depressed. Your team is similar to Redcar’s, who everyone is raving about. Maybe your bottom four lack the potential of Stewart and Bacon, but they should be home track specialists who guarantee you a mid-table finish.
  7. No, I think you’ll find it’s “sick”.
  8. Dreadful? It looks like Poole’s team of 5, 6 & 7 pointers but no doubt you’ll think that fantastic!
  9. Actually a team ranging from 4.5 to 7.5 looks more like this year’s Poole than Rye House! So maybe not too bad.
  10. With NBJ a 5 pointer and Allen 4.56, the top five would be 5 to 7 pointers. It’s looking a bit Rye House.
  11. Well, if money’s tight, how about Shanes and Wajtknecht for the last two? Both recently Brum riders. .
  12. Reminds me of two other sayings: ”Always use a dictionary” “Why do young people keep saying: Can I get .... ?”
  13. Keep your hair on. A competitive team is usually a prerequisite of “more people on the terraces in September than in March”. Are they required to acquire assets? How many must they sign before they can take part in the league?
  14. Spot on. Nick Morris? Nope, average too high. If you can’t persuade Adam Ellis, it’s the likes of Klindt with Ostergarard as number 1! Looks like bad team building? Shame.
  15. That’s a brave team. A top three and a bottom four, but best of luck for investing in young British talent.
  16. Adam Ellis and Hume would fit if Thomsen is a 4.
  17. Ah, the Poole Privates. It all makes sense now.
  18. Yeah, it’s a great look: one leg, an eye patch and bad teeth. Don’t you have the NHS down there?
  19. His Polish average is similar to Jacobsen and Bach, which means he should be a 5 point rider, but if he comes in on a 4, the BSPA have given BV a clear one point advantage.
  20. Really? BV have Lidsey (no UK experience) and Berge (a 5 point CL rider), Poole have Covatti (a 6 point CL rider) and someone worse, Wolves have Becker (no UK experience) and Swindon have two 5 point CL riders. Not a lot in it. Certainly not, compared to the gulf of a difference between the top four riders!
  21. Trouble is, they won’t deliver.
