Blimey, you’re SteveBrum’s great grandson.
-
Oi, be fair, you’re never going to expect him to score like Josh G.
-
Wouldn’t you have been glad of that against Peterborough?

Good point. Blast, we might lose now. -
Top teams win away by more than a measly six points. Poole squeaked it.

Can’t believe we’d go for Stefan. His form has been poor since coming back from injury. -
That’s a good point. It’s a shame that all riders don’t use the same, unadulterated, factory supplied engines. There’s obviously a big gulf in earnings and equipment expenditure between your average British Leagues’ rider and those that ride internationally, especially in Poland. Shame we can’t have a level playing field on equipment so we can truly measure talent.

Just being my normal humble self.

There’s a difference between almost losing, using a tactical sub and losing. Just check Poole’s home record and you’ll see what I mean.

LOL Stick with your “Swindon are rubbish” predictions, FB.
-
To be fair to Josh, he nearly cancelled out Nick Morris.
-
.... especially now Josh G is running into form.
-
Good point, they’re thrashing KL tonight.

Football might be a real sport but there’s loads wrong with it and in terms of playing fair, finances and extortionate prices it’s definitely not a good example for other sports to follow.

Yep. How many Eastbourne staff or associates threw a punch in the melee? Hmmmm ... no mention. -

You can compare them on bike handling skills too and ability to gate and to overtake and to ride different tracks. Achievements is not the only criterion for comparison. For me, Darcy Ward is the most naturally gifted rider I have seen but his achievements don’t amount to much. -

I think that’s a bit unfair on Craig, especially considering how late he came into speedway and his fast rise through the ranks to become one of the most consistent riders in the domestic leagues. When you consider how poor the money, set ups and support is in this country, it’s no surprise that we cannot produce the GP riders that Poland can. World achievers like Woffinden and Loram are rare, and we’ve even been lucky to have the likes of Harris and Nicholls in the home leagues. So, all in all, Craig is quite an inspiring example for young NL riders. -

Did Cook need guiding? Surely he could use his own eyes to make sure he didn’t ride into anyone? Unless of course anyone else on the track was as daft as the Marshall! -
To be fair, everyone in the stadium was in danger of being run over by Craig Cook ....... if they too had flung themselves in front of him.
-
No, they were wearing the Eastbourne kevlars.

Spot on. To challenge Leigh Adams, Doyle needs to attain a ten point average for ten consecutive seasons, and preferably be a one club rider. He was very sharp in the GPs when he won the world championship in what was an “in between” year for contenders, generally with young riders on the way up but not at their peak and older riders on the way down, but he hasn’t been near that form in the GPs since.
-
Doyle above Leigh Adams? No way for me. Leigh was a banker for Swindon in practically every race home and away until his last season and always rode with such style. Doyle is far less consistent and stylish, doesn’t have the same level of ability and application and he would never have won a world title against TR, NP and Crump in their heydays.
