.... err .... unless they go the way of Jack Parkinson-Blackburn, Jack Smith, Jack Thomas, Georgie Wood, Zach Wajtknecht, Henry Atkins, Danton Hume and Jordan Jenkins, all of whom have been knocked back by the CL, lost confidence or given up. To promote two 15 year olds that can’t even get a 7 point average in the NL just so you can have a powerful top five is poor judgment and not done at all for the benefit of the Thompsons.
-
Bellego is 5.8, not 4.4
-
Wilson Dean’s converted average would be about 8.6, so there’s no value in signing him on that. He’s a 6.5 rider atm.
-
You mean the new bonds that they weren’t told about before they applied and that were invented by the BSPA to keep them down in the NL so it didn’t fold? The BSPA also said that they had to be paid immediately, with no chance to factor that into cash flow.
-
So annoying to see such young riders come into the CL solely for the benefit of team building and to the detriment of their development. They’ve had barely a season in the NL and averaged below 7. They’re just not ready and it shouldn’t be allowed.
-
What? Instead of Corbyn and McDonnell?
-
So you’re not having Robert Lambert either?
-
Jan Graversen
-
They’ve always been available but do Peterborough have the ambition to sign them? Or, err, will it be Aaron Summers?
-
Blimey, with Pedersen and Howarth at reserve it won’t be as easy for Swindon this year!
-
Well, for Poole, how about Jan Graversen?
-
Just goes to show that it was Matt Ford losing interest last year and not a difficulty in signing GP standard riders that caused Poole’s downfall. Just one box office signing could have kept Poole in the PL!
-
Yeah, but it’s his dives from behind into bends 3 and 1 that the other riders see!
-
Ooohhhhh spelling police. Don’t be pikki.

What riders may come back to UK in 2020?

Looks like Simon Stead needs to manage every PL club and give them a bit of ambition. Come on, Peterborough. -
Stevebrum’s finger on the pulse again.
-
Apparently Kyle Howarth, given the number 2 race jacket, has just bought some brown kevlars.
-
Fabulous!

There are some discrepancies in the 3 point equivalent “achieved” average. Ipswich could include Drew Kemp who finished with 3.58, lower than Rowe’s 4.38, because he achieved over 4.8 during the season. He would come in on a 3. Connor Mountain likewise achieved more than the necessary 4.8 at one point but finished on 4.73, so he could come in on a 3. And then there’s Stefan Nielsen. Did he actually appear for Swindon this season? I recall he rode in one match and got injured? If not, he would be a 3 now (or 3.81 if he did).
-
Anders definitely isn’t ready and he hasn’t achieved the necessary 3 point PL equivalent average.
-
Maybe Howarth, Mountain, Kennedy and MacDonald?
-
If Nick Morris and Kyle Howarth are signed, the best reserves would be two of Stoneman, Thomas and Lawlor. It’s a power packed top five!

Doubling up is not a problem with fixed race nights, which in any event makes sense to avoid clashes with the foreign leagues. Although I'd rather have one league with no doubling up!
