Yep, he certainly needs to up his game, but Glasgow obviously believe he can and he’s been a CL number one for five years.
-
DC 2 Brum 0. And that’s just the start.
-
Nope. We signed Lampart on 4.58 at the start of 2019 when we could have signed Rasmus Jensen on 4.39 (his converted average at 1.5).
-
But that’s not true, is it? Wouldn’t Rasmus have fitted instead of Lampart? Or Bellego in 2018?
-
He won’t fit if we sign Adam Ellis. He would if we had Nick Morris instead.
-
Really? So why didn’t Rosco sign him instead of Lampart at the start of the season?
-
Can’t see your point. We’re talking about 12 clubs in the same division, not hundreds of clubs of different standards.
-
Trouble is they’re queuing up to get into your reserve berths, with Douglas, Nicol and Becker, but you won’t be able to sign a better number one than Masters. I know, cos Steve Brum always says no riders come back to GB.

After a heart felt plea by Matt Ford and Muddlo on South Today for volunteers to find Steve Shovlar, who’s been missing for several weeks feared choked on humble pie, an underwhelming response saw a task force of Starman and Foreverblue scour the seedy seaside town for several minutes yesterday evening. Unfortunately, after an exhaustive search, the two old duffers failed to find Shovlar but upon returning to Wimborne Road did uncover seven riders who went missing in the play offs.

Wolves seem to have mucked up their side by signing Nicol. It was looking like this year’s team, with Nichols for Howarth, was a no brainier. Instead, they’ve landed Nicol on a 4 and now need to sign a top number one to compensate, plus give the bad news to another of this year’s team. What a mess.
-
At least all teams would have raced to get into the second round rather than have a free ticket. They do it in the rugby union Heineken Cup, Europe’s top competition.
-
Probably. Pretty obvious that a 4 pointer should be signed. Wells, Jeppesen or Stewart, but every chance that Rosco will go for the budget option of Stefan Nielsen.
-
Yep, we got lucky in the same way that Poole got unlucky capitulating in the Play Off second leg against Ipswich.

Apparently, Rob has said that he’s expecting his fiercest opponent in the GPs to be Tai Woffinden’s son. -
What a load of rubbish, four clubs having byes! Why not have six ties with the two best losers also going through? At least then everyone would be involved from the start, everyone would ride the same number of matches to get to the final and teams losing in the first round would still ride hard for every point.
-
What, you mean current Champions of the top league in the country or make weights in the second division?
-
I mentioned several teams selections a month ago. I’ll try to find them for you. Doyle Morris Ellis Musielak Jensen Perks Wells
-
Excellent team with what’s left.
-
I don’t know why you keep banging on about Anders Rowe riding in the PL, other than the fact that Rosco has dug himself a hole with the Swindon tail. Anders is not eligible due to not having achieved the converted 3 point average and he’s not ready.
-
To be fair, we’re also giving a good home to those riders who have out grown the Pirates.

Hancock an exception? I give you Rob Ledwith. -
That’s a good point about two 2 point reserves and a gulf in class, but at least there are another ten clubs and the chance of another twenty 2 point opponents for them. A bigger Brit reduction is a good idea. I’d give all Brits under a 5 point average who have ridden no more than than eight seasons (in the NL or CL) a 10% reduction and make all foreigners a 5 point minimum. Otherwise we might lose riders like Mountain, Greaves and Hume, just like Joe Jacobs, but employ four point Aussies like Kennedy and MacDonald at Sheffield.

We’re trying to bring on a few juniors from our feeder club. You should be proud to be associated with the Champions.

Yeah, he’s starting with a collection for his broken leg!
