  1. Zach Cook, Kennedy or MacDonald on a 4 or Hume and Kinsley on 3-ish? Hume should certainly be taken under someone’s wing.
  2. Pretty sure your second reserve will have to be a Brit, average wise.
  3. Five or six Brits this time but none will be assets.
  4. Looks like you might have five or six next year!
  5. When was the last time Poole had four Brits? How many of them are assets?
  6. Actually, Jeppesen is already 5.2 from his Ipswich debut in 2018.
  7. You mean, victim of Poole’s “anything but young Brit” policy?
  8. It’s weird, isn’t it, Brady Kurtz has always looked like a smooth Leigh Adams type rider, like Dan Bewley too, and yet Doyle came from the reckless type, like Kildemand, Ben Barker and Josh Bates.
  9. OK, a 5 point Dane and Connor Mountain and Danyon Hume at reserve. But Birkemose and Jeppesen are the only ones who represent good value on 5. Matias Nielsen, for example, is unlikely to better 5 in his first season.
  10. Yes, you’re right. It looks like 5 is the new assessed average for Europeans (or riders who have ridden in one of the European professional leagues, Poland, Denmark, Sweden and poss Germany).
  11. There you are, you succeeded only in making yourself DiCk1. God knows where Poole would be without my help.
  12. Only Sam Jensen and Tobias Thomsen have come in on 5, all of the others have been 5.2. Did 5 replace 5.2 sometime this year? Or was it because they hadn’t ridden in the top Danish league? Or they were reserves in that league?
  13. King Jeppesen Worrall Birkemose Ellis Nielsen Atkins/Coles Even I would pay to watch them.
  14. Most Danes come in on 5.2, so Aussies have the advantage of 4 point averages and Kennedy/MacDonald have a year’s CL track experience. Birkemose or Jeppesen on 5.2 would be the exceptions in terms of value.
  15. If I were the new promoter I would certainly ask Hans Andersen (9.26). What’s not to like for a headline name that would draw in the crowds, provided there’s a way to cover his wages.
  16. Looking at who’s left: King Nielsen Worrall Lesser Bjerre Ellis Kennedy/MacDonald/4 point Aussie Bowtell Or Berge, Kinsley and Hume to support a couple of young Brits.
  17. To be fair, that would be the side to beat if they sign Ellis. Poole could have a 6.96 rider and 4 and 2 at reserve.
  18. 9.29 in 2017, so Freddie has the right average. But SteveBrum has already said that Freddie’s only doing Poland this year.
  19. Rene Bach (7.19 CL in 2018, converts to 4.49) He would be a very good reserve.
  20. Let’s hope Wolves have the ambition to use all 42.5 points.
  21. The ambition to sign a top number one. Which was what the conversation was about before you said they did well regardless, missing the point.
