  1. Hmmmm ... is that why Swindon didn’t win the league for 45 years?
  2. If you’re not looking for an angle why not just accept the Final GSA averages like the rest of us? The team ones in the other section have a clear note saying they are done to certain dates, they are not official and they should not be used for team building. Get over it.
  3. I think he means Chris Holder could sign on less than Klindt but become the number one.
  4. Sometimes you just can’t get what you want. Do you accept that or consider a fiddle? The Poole Principle.
  5. Think 4 point averages for the Thompsons is cloud cuckoo land.
  6. Does that preclude Ben Wilson too and Rob Ledwith?
  7. Got a feeling you’ve got your #1. Klindt.
  8. So you think riders on the way down have no place in a PL winning side? Riders like Eriksen, Zorro, Skornicki, Watt, Stead, Peter Karlsson and Harris, all picked up on false averages due to previous poor seasons and yet being instrumental in winning a title. Hans Andersen or Scott Nicholls would have been miles better for Wolves’ title aspirations for 2020.
  9. Yes, I know, but there is little point coming into the CL and not being able to do better than 2. That’s why I think 7 CL should be a minimum requirement. I would also require new CL riders to achieve 3 within two seasons or have to revert to the NL for a season. Keeping Phillips in the CL has done no one any good. Ryan Kinsley achieved 3.17 in his first season but hasn’t got a team yet because of too many premature 2 pointers being allowed.
  10. I’m right. They are currently the same standard and neither will make a 3 point CL average. Jenkins is younger and has potential to do well in the future.
  11. Yes, I don’t deny that, but for me, regardless of age, no one with an NL average below 7 should be in the CL.
  12. Similar to Leicester, but better because they have three heatleaders at the top of their game (whereas Morris and Howarth have stalled), two improving second strings (although an on form Proctor and Perks could blow them away), and Lawlor who is well ahead of the Thompsons atm, with Jenkins at their level.
  13. Judging by their NL averages, they’re about the same standard.
  14. Fair enough. Here’s some recent form from Australia: http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/19579/state-title-23rd-november-brisbane http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/19557/victorian-state-championship-undera-november
  15. Have you checked the local plan for that area? Parking is not required in some areas that are well served by public transport and employment.
  16. A reasonable 4 pointer, not quite as good as Zaine Kennedy, also on a 4.
  17. Scott Nicholls over BWD for me. Brad could do with a solid, injury free season before I sign him.
  18. Surely speedway riders will be treated the same as any other foreign job applicants, unless there is some exemption for sportsmen? They’ll have to satisfy the new Australian style points system. Presumably meaning there has to be a vacancy in this Country that UK nationals cannot fill and the job must pay at least £30k.
  19. Is that the “you scratch my back” brigade? All totally fair, unbiased and above board, of course. Still, Bellego came back into the Swindon side too.
  20. Does that rule exist? Etheridge rode for BV in 2018 and wasn’t selected at the start of 2019 but came back into the side mid-season.
