  1. It makes me sad to read alot of this, as someone whos watched speedway since the sixties, yes the manager has made some errors of judgement but as with all British Sport our riders are left to pay for everything. As said our youngsters cant supply equipment or expertise on a par with the likes of all the GP riders so how the hell do you expect them to win races against them , oh hang on a minute ill just get my go cart and take on the F1s today, wake up Great? Britian you need to spend some money on your team that are representing you, why do we win Horse show jumping huh Because our rich Daddies by the best Horses and Give their children riding lessons from aged zero onwards. In speedway we are the poor trying to race against the rich .No can do,who ever manages OR rides for that matter. And as usual some knock our young up and coming talent instead of encouraging them and sticking your hand in your pocket and giving them a helping hand . And before anyone says it yes i have, but im afraid im not a russian billionaire but i do know that our riders need help so stop knocking them and get behind them.
  2. Nice move by the stars ,really like richie , shame for kozza thought he would only get better this season too, theyve picked the right meeting to test him out
  3. Bit of a white wash that by the looks , his bikes looked good , well done though Lewis points needed to bring in the pennies and boost confidence.Hope he can score like that against the stars !!
  4. I like the look of this stars team , think they will be their at the end next season. What is good is that their promotion/management havnt ponced around ,they have got down to it, signed some good riders ,and given their supporters a reason to look forward to next years season. This is what ALL supporters want........................................................ not left guessing and being fed rumour after rumour by ill informed wanabys or being left wondering for months on end..Well done Lynn
  5. I think its more about equipment on the bigger tracks really, Bridger never has had top notch bikes etc etc to be fair, living on the Eastbourne shoe string hasnt really helped.People often said he may end up a one track pony.I have no doubt he has the bike skills to ride Arlington but he hasnt served enough of his apprenticeship on the bigger tracks really. With better equipment / mech and bike set ups only then will we see what hes really made of or not for that matter. As with all? / most british sport our talent is not helped by the country to develope and improve . We just expect them to be good pay for everything themselves, and slag them off if they arnt or let us down............................................... . As for riding in the premier?? yes it would give him a bit more pocket money ,but he really needs to get more experience riding abroad too, especially if he wants to further his career.??
  6. Looking like your crystal ball tells truth, maybe he will be helped from above by rico too, others must not keep dishing our own talented British Riders before they have the maturity , experience, money and backing to prove themselves.Sometimes to much is expected too early. You have been thrown a life line Lewis , Good Luck.
  7. Think Lakeside may have picked him up cheap , swapping for Adam sheilds , yes adam was a good rider a few years ago but not sure he has the same potential as Bridger with a bit of M H s and others money behind him.Be interesting to see if he still doubles up?
  8. Also says so supporters etc of all ages can have a go ,so they know what its like before a match. All equipment supplied ,a chance for those without equipment ,to get some practice in . Good on martin looking to the future thats what the sport needs.
  9. Won his British Under 21 Champ their too.I think Cookie could straighten him out, Bridger cant afford to get it wrong he will have more mouths to feed soon. As said above, he has talent which some team could tap into if they guide and help him financially.
