Does anyone know if Leigh Lanham will be fit for Monday's meeting?

Dan Bewley rode really well, soon sussed out the Rye track, listed to him going into the bends, most of the time was throttle fully wound on. It would seem the best way to ride it is to attack it. What a start to his career in speedway. Good to have George back, unlucky Macauley Leek, Connor Locke looks better every time I see him, but ultimately cost us a point by not being able to stay on his bike.

Something needs to be done, Karger clearly is not up to the Premier League standard. The days of beating most teams by 50 odd points at home are long gone and although the draw on Monday gave us some good racing we don't want draws and losses at home. One of the best riders in the league-Eddie can't keep carrying the team as he has done the last three years. Crowds will inevitably windle and the investment in the stadium will be a waste of time.

I think they would make a good reserve pairing, as you said seems to care about the team he's riding for, definitely not one to pull out of a challenge.

The promotion should act like Peterborough have done. Show the paying public some respect and give us a product worth watching. Rob Branford would be a much better option at reserve, he never knows when he's beat and is a great team player.

Well done to the Raiders. Rob Branford is a joy to watch, great team rider and unbeaten. Macauley Leek, great effort and useful points. Ben and Luke rode well.

The crowd size is a bit different than last season then?Andrew Silver made all the difference last year, one of finds coming back to haunt us!

Know wonder this sport of ours is in decline! How many other sports use guests? Surely the time has come to do away with this ridiculous rule and implement a system to bring through younger riders who can progress through a squad at a club. What are your thoughts?

Why keep bringing up the same old names, Boxall and Mear have had plenty of chances! Both are never going to be as good as they think they are, plenty of talent but lack commitment and dedication. We need new talent at Rye.

Don't see the current reserves improving like Danyon and Alfie have.

Couldn't see the Raiders top two being in the Rockets side, where would that leave the National League side? dead in the water I think.

Why Sam Woods is back this season I have no clue never seems to improve,the two reserves look way out of their depth. Such a shame that Ben,Robert and Luke will have a lot to do this season. All the promise of last season has gone, looked forward to going to see the Raiders last year, can't see that being the case this season.
