Know wonder this sport of ours is in decline! How many other sports use guests? Surely the time has come to do away with this ridiculous rule and implement a system to bring through younger riders who can progress through a squad at a club. What are your thoughts? -

Rye House V Ipswich Witches 9th April

Why keep bringing up the same old names, Boxall and Mear have had plenty of chances! Both are never going to be as good as they think they are, plenty of talent but lack commitment and dedication. We need new talent at Rye. -

Dear! No thanks Bloody computer. Mear! No thanks. Bloody computer. Mear! No thanks. -
Quite easy! They are way off the pace unlike Alfie and Danyon at the same stage last season.
-
I think Larger will come good given the time, just needs a little more experience Can't get Peter's name to stay correct Can't get Peter's name to stay correct
-
Don't see the current reserves improving like Danyon and Alfie have.
-
Couldn't see the Raiders top two being in the Rockets side, where would that leave the National League side? dead in the water I think.

Raiders V Kent Sun 3rd April ~ After Premier Match At 3pm
hackneyrocket replied to waco's topic in National League Speedway
Why Sam Woods is back this season I have no clue never seems to improve, the two reserves look way out of their depth. Such a shame that Ben,Robert and Luke will have a lot to do this season. All the promise of last season has gone, looked forward to going to see the Raiders last year, can't see that being the case this season. -

One thing most people seem to forget or don't understand is at the speed Ben was going it's hard to turn the bike if someone is up the inside of you. So it's into the fence or lay the bike down. -

Most fans want their team to do well/win something, in truth there's only going to be one successful team! The one who has the most money behind them (we all know who that is). At least we have a team to support/watch, unlike a lot of other fans who have seen their teams cease. As someone else has said on this forum, get behind the boys and enjoy it as much as you can. If he was that awful how come he held off Ostergaard for for laps even if off a 15m handicap.Don't say much for Ostergaard.

So who's it going to be, Australian,American or European rider to fill the last spot? The silence coming out of Rye is deafening.
