Scunthorpe Scorpions 2022
hackneyrocket replied to IronScorpion's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Having been a supporter of Hackney and Rye House for many years (both unfortunately gone now) Having recently moved to Lincolnshire, I was impressed with the track and met some lovely people last night. Ryan and Terio looked good. looking forward to coming to back and adopting Scunthorpe as my new team to watch. I wish all the team well for the new season. -
Hi Thanks for the reply, I'm glad he's doing ok, never spoke to him but always seemed a nice guy.
-
Should get him back in the team, did everything that was asked of him last year and got the push.
-
Does anyone on hear know how Chris is doing these days? Great team man and hard to beat on his day. Sadly missed due to a bad accident.
-
Is Nick Covati eligible to race in this league? If so what, would his average be?
-
Your partly right, after a bad accident in motor cross which left me with cracked discs in my lower back, I decided not to carry on. Obviously you have some connection with Max? Not slagging him off, just think he's out of his depth at this level
-
I think you need to read this back and take note of what your saying, the big hitters as you call them will come to the table, Max will not. Who needs to shake their head?
-
And Rye keep riding their luck.
-
How much longer are this promotion going to give Max Clegg cant carry him anymore.
-
In my opinion NBJ should have been in the team from the start.
-
Look at his score at Rye last week.
-
Ok thanks
-
Does anyone know how long Eddie is going to be out for?

Rye House v Wolves 25.04.18

Surely Max needs to be replaced ASAP way out of his depth. Thank goodness for NBJ. -
Who says I'm worrying, It was a simple question.
-
Really!
-
Has anyone considered that the recent track installation at Rye could raise safety issues that in turn may affect the issuing of a licence from the BSPA.
-
The dreaded weather has won again
-
Not sure it you went much last season but the crowds were up on the last few years.
-
So do I and I think we have a very good chance
-
I know this is going to go down like a lead balloon, but some of the crap that has been written over the last few days about the management and promotion really is tiresome. I doubt any of the negative bile is based on any sort of informed fact, just posting for the sake of it. If you don' like what they do, don't bother turning up. I know this is forum for open speach/debate and that's what I've done, but not about the management who I can see are trying to get up to speed with our sport. Just stop the moaning and get behind them.
