We only entered a team in the NL Trophy, which was a 4 team competition with the top 2 going through to the Final. It was quite well attended for NL fixtures, if I remember right.

I would like to see A J at No1. Forget Lambert. Nilsson instead of Wozza if he's not riding GB next season.. I don't know what that would leave for 2 reserves?

Does this mean that the "Big boys" won't be here next season? Leicester could still run on a Saturday then. Still only 8/9 teams in top flight. Will it be run every other week?

Glasgow announced that they intended to run on a Saturday night, so it's unlike they will move up.

EL needs to take preference over PL

If Leicester stay in the EL then I would like to see them run a NL team aswell to compensate for the lack of speedway. Stay in EL and we must have a very competitive team or it will be a waste of time.

Its a sad state of affairs all round. I cant believe how its all gone. The fans have been treated with contempt. The club cant run without the fans, yet the fans are treated so bad. No surprise that it has all ended like this. So much enthusiasm and hope when we opened back in 2011. To quote a certain person, " I want to make Leicester Lions the best club in the country" it seems its the worst club in the country. Lets hope that someone can still see the potential of the club and take us forward to what we deserve. Crazy playing a league match after the final has taken place. At least we still get to see another match before the end of the season though.

Why should DH give a statement of his side of things? He has his reasons. What's it got to do with us? As long as he doesn't pull the plug on Leicester Speedway. Which he says he won't. I have never seen DH drunk as you put it, and has for these drunken outburst, I've never heard one. He had every right to be upset at the lights being switched off, but I wouldn't call it " a drunken outburst". DH has always been very polite and always keen to engage with the public. I'm beginning to think that you live in a parallel universe or some kind of fantasy land where you only see the worst of people. You have got a knack of making yourself sound silly.

Thanks for the info, Glyn. The track has made a massive improvement in racing. I doubt a certain person who still moans about the track, has ever sat on a speedway bike. You can prepare the track like that every week for me. A great nights entertainment. Well done all.

Leicester have a very well balanced side. Walasek, Wozniak and Auty all go very well at home. Klindt has a home ace over 8. Hougaard has been very good around Leicester on the occasions he has been there, so to say they will struggle at home is crazy. As for away. Walasek looked almost unbeatable at Kings Lynn and Coventry. Wozza was improving all the time and the others have been around long enough to some points. Ulamek has been around long enough to know how to win and he had a fairly good season last year, so who knows. We could be the surprise package this year. Injuries will dictate a lot of teams and by the law of averages we should be in for an injury free season. Let's hope so hey!
