To be fair, Leicester had a good team and had they not kept loosing their double up riders they wouldn't have finished bottom of the league. We always knew it was going to be a tough season due to that. All in all, it was about as good as we were going to get. I enjoyed watching them, anyway.

Depends on the timing of the guest booking. If it was on the day, not much could have been done re equipment. If it was earlier, then maybe. The track was in good shape. The best time was only 0.5 of a second slower than the track record.

Ayres took Perks wide that's all, nothing more than Harris did to Garrity a few races later. I can't comment on the incident because I was watching the front 2. If the riders were worried about the condition of the track, they should have refused to ride. If you agree to ride, then no half measures.
