Rebels V Diamonds Fri 28th June

Awesome display by the Rebels, the lose of Kyle bad enough but then to see Alex taking a close look at the M5 I thought the Diamonds would walk it but all credit to the 6 remaining riders, they all dug in, the 3 heat leaders did there jobs but to see Alex return and win 2 heats was awesome, I thought the 2 reserves would struggle but all credit to them they were on the pace. Get well Kyle -

great meeting I echo other comments made more premier matches please sky Berwick Scunthorpe and now Somerset good speedway on well prepared tracks lets hope we don't see a ploughed field tomorrow at Poole as it was last time sky visited well done the Monarchs rode very well as for the Rebels its time that the management start looking at Tom he don't seem on the pace having strong reserves wins meetings as proved tonight -
1st Somerset 2nd Sheffield 3rd Scunthrope

1st of all sorry about name change of NICK to Mick had a few sherberts and my fingers and head not in tune with each other. I have worked out between now and the pairs meeting Kennett will have only ridden twice for the Bandits what are the rules or are they made up as they go along
-
It is only a couple of weeks away, the question is who will be riding for the Rebels in the pairs. 2 out of 3 Doyley & Mick or Doyley & Josh or Mick & Josh all 3 are on top form my choice Doyley & Mick

Good speedway match all credit to the Lion's, 2 heat leaders down but still fought hard to make a match of it, the score do not reflect the racing but the Rebels on this form on a well prepared track would have beaten any team -

I agree Tom needs to up his game the rest Doyley can be excused for a bad night Alex brilliant Nick solid Klye needs a bit of time to settle into the main body of the team Josh will push Doyley for the No 1 spot on current form Stefan gets better with every ride on last night Plymouth will give a good account of themselves this season as they look a good solid team -

Great team only thing that worries me you need strong reserves to win away from the O T A top 3 fantastic Alex and Kyle to back them up -
Ipswich rebuilding there team what chances Dak making a return to the O T A

Having been a keen speedway fan for over 50 years, 40 of them as a Falcons fan. 10 years ago i came to the O T A one Fri night just out of intrest and have been there ever since. I for one would like to thank the management of Somerset for giving me a really good season of speedway. Its not been easy with the weather etc but i think the track has been back to its best this year with some very good racing. The management has had to make a few difficult calls [ Sam Masters] but i think they made the right one. When you see what is happening at some clubs [ Plymouth ] we must be thankful to have a stable club with some great support
