  1. Really enjoyed tonight .. Most importantly Adam Kirby done the celebration lap so glad to he's ok hope Luke priest is ok too ... Thank you dan greenwood put in an excellent performance ...rob Branford was awesome for rye house should have a real good season for them . But the difference this Evening was the reserve riders alex Wilson and zach wajknecht awesome riding both were so competitive and in the 12 races between had zero 4th places I know your gonna say a lot fell for rye house but that's speedway .. All in all I'm pleased with tonight tom perry will find the ben barker line soon he's looking for it enough .. Sam going to be out for at least 2-3 months we need to get a replacement in short term he must 100% return when fit though .poor crowd I thought but just delighted to see the big B flying round a track in birmingham
  2. Me and my mate just booked flights for the gp in Tampere .. Has anyone been before or going ? Where would you suggest best seats are in the stadium as looking to get these booked by Saturday for the £15 discount
  3. Why do people think leicester will do so bad guys .. I think they will go well .. Good reserve pairing IMO I suppose which perderson turns up but could be a bargain for them .. Solid number 1 in Doyle .. Michelson potential surely he improves he's average.. I'm not saying they win the league I'm just saying bit of luck and form they have the riders to compete and I personally wouldn't be surprised to see them in the top 4 ..
  4. Well let's just hope people will come and watch the team next season the club have done there best to assemble a competitive team and for £120 for the whole season is a snip and will prove to be great value can't wait
  5. Covatti signing of the prem winter IMO will be a huge improver on average a bargain
  6. Sorry yeah I need to get real a pound out ffs the idiots are back ... I'm gonna have a real hard look at myself for suggesting it may be 1-3 pound less and get a grip on reality ... Thanks bilbo
  7. Thought so I remember mole said he was going to talk to the bspa about getting them back but never heard how it went .... I think this season is all about trying to get the fans through the turnstiles assuming it's going to be £8-£10 admission this season ,with plenty of local fixtures still we should have some interesting fixtures looking forward to stoke in particular never been there before .. Most looking forward to the cradley fixtures though would be great to see a couple of bumper attendances in that fixture ...
  8. Thought I'd start our own thread ... Be interesting to see see who's comes in as manger I hope for Morris but will see .. What has happened to the assets I know they can't ride nl the majority but just wondered wether we would receive loan fees for them that's all ...
  9. Looking forward to the season now . Should get some away trips in to stoke cradley coventry and Buxton all fairly close ... I will also be going to as many cradley meetings possible should get lots of speedway in next year make up for the last 4 months
  10. It will need someone like Morris to get the trust of the riders back to .. Some riders will be unkeen to sign with what has previously gone on
  11. Arthur there has been many re generation plans in recent years many include flattening perry barr . Now I know for a fact about 2 years ago this was close to happening
  12. Uk martin agree 100% with you about adam smashing kid but he really is going to suffer later in life I'm afraid .. BUT your idea that virtual dogs can replace real dogs is laughable to be honest . There is millions of pounds bet on a single bags meeting from perry barr ... If you don't believe me next bags meeting go on betfair click on a race as it starts and it will say how much money has been traded normally around 70 k per race but that is just 1 trader there are hundreds of them . Huge sums of money I have put up to 500 on a dog before (I was a owner ) but would never dream of putting a penny on a virtual race as I like to study form formulate an opinion and then back my opinion like the majority of big punters... More than happy to hear a response but I' don't want a slanging match just decent chat ..
  13. I have pm you mate reply at leisure ... I'm not been cloak and dagger by the way folks I would just rather not put my number on a forum I'm sure you would all do the same
  14. P t preece 100% agree and the same point has been raised by others which is why a meeting is required about how we use the fund... Me personally just want to build the fund up as high as possible to stop this happening in the future.....
  15. We know only too well trees but we can trust each other that's one thing we can be sure on... An open meeting needs to be setup amongst supports at the end of the day we can only do what we can . We're aware of the pitfalls because we have fell down most of them but I want to put our supporters fund in a strong position for our long term future .. At the end of the day a new promotion shouldn't need our fund that would send alarm bells off immediately ,they need us to get the terraces packed first and foremost .. Can it be done ?? Who knows but we will try our hardest
  16. Brummies forum currently been repaired... My proposal which Ive spoke to the fighting fund about is continuing the fund and I'm looking for approx 100 people to donate around 10 a month towards the fund so we can keep building it up for our use if and when needed this will increase the fund by approx £12,000 a year it will also show potential owners we have a loyal hardcore who are prepared to do that little extra for the club.. Now I've spoke to a few people about it and have had decent feed back and around 15 people I've spoken to would join such a scheme some prepared to make 15 to 20 pound donations...with the club shutting mid season most these people have saved 300-400 quid anyway with admission programme drinks fuel if not more .... Please remember this would be for us as the fans for our future not to be handed over to the potential new owners... Feed back please on your thoughts of this idea lets try keep this thread sensible
  17. He will only win a couple more then he will have to drop down a step on the rostrum and make way for ruthless robert lambert.....
  18. Coventry is brilliant for pit viewing I love going there the kids we take love watching the pits it helps in between races to stop them getting bored...
