King's Lynn Stars 2017
ProudtobeaBrummie replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Robert Lambert scored 10+1 but said said he did not feel comfortable with hes setup last night. So while everyone was packing the bikes away this young 19 year old lad went out and done some laps to try a some set ups in preparation for kings lynns next home meeting. So a score of which any teenager riding in this country would be delighted with he still knows he ca do more and reacts to do something about it. How after all this some fans can be critical of him is beyond me -

Correct its just a comment that all the smaller self pity clubs say. They dont think its got anything to do with the fact that the best young riders in the country want to ride and learn there trade with the most professionally ran clubs in the league. Constantly read that either Birmingham ,Cradley or eastbourne offer more than other clubs with zero proof. -

Decent meeting i thought with some good tussles not as close as i expected in the end. JPB - Started on fire would be disappointing with ht 13 and 15 never got close enough but in ht 10 he was class and also ht 6 showed hes quality team riding layne in for a 5-1 3/5 Cuppitt- superb at number 2 improving all the time 3.5/5 Ritchings -steady again beat who you expect and beat by who you expect 3.0/5 Bacon - overall good meeting i thought he could of done more in hes opening 2 heats to stop clegg and williamson passing could do with going a bit deeper on bends 3 and 4 but good performance overall 3.5/5 Carr - Solid again good ride to beat cleggy in ht 13 proving a good replacement for danyon 3.5/10 Leek - solid 5 points will keep improving hopefully pick up some away points soon 3.5/5 Roberts- As with leek showing improvement all the time 3.5/5 As for Buxton as you would expect really max and matt 23 between them with max missing ht 1 I thought woolley rode better than hes points total suggested -

Yes without doubt hopefully can reintroduce him as number 8 for the next meeting and let the 3 young lads battle it out for the reserve berths. I hope we can see a bit more improvement from Roberts and Leek tonight like last meeting 3/4 points each may be a bit unrealistic but would be a great return . -
There has been talk of Paul Hurry returning for the best part of 2 years im pretty sure Eastbourne and Birmingham have enquired in this period but were denied by the powers that be.
