EXCELLENT, thanks. I think the fact I had to ask kind of concludes that I didn't read any other posts. I generally don't 'backtrack' and read posts. I only post when I have something useful to say.Besides, the posts you mentioned didn't actually suggest we were days away, more a reference to "sooner rather than later", and "quite soon now". I am quite specific in saying days, and based on this morning's news, I'd most certainly say days rather than weeks! I am very confident that an announcement from BSI is imminent. I'm sure this week's Speedway Star may also carry some news on the matter.

WHERE has it been discussed that an announcement is days away? I am only sharing what I know.

FROM what I've been told we can expect a positive announcement within days (rather than weeks) regarding the SGP series being broadcast in the UK. I'm told coverage will be live and in HD.

IT'S done via 'card sharing' - users pay a small subscription each month to access shared viewing card channels via the internet, using a basic box such as a Dreambox.

USTREAM only signed for ten GPs last year, starting with the Czech Republic Speedway Grand Prix on 12th May. I am not aware of them agreeing a new deal for 2013. That said, I'm sure something will be concluded for streaming, especially if no deal is signed between SKY.

THEY already offer a USTREAM service for the International market, so it should not be a problem to open that up to the UK.

WONDER if Tai will commit to a UK league next season; now that he's in the SGP. I guess time will tell.

THE 2013 SGP Wildcard announcement will be tomorrow. I expect the wildcards to be: HAMPEL, WARD, VACULIK and WOFFINDEN.
