  1. Just a thought, could it be that the programme for Kilb's testimonial was 3 quid and that it will revert back to 2 quid for league matches? I have to say, there has been a lack of communication or even an explanation from the management about the price rises. To not say anything, especially in these difficult times, is poor in my book. I accept that the car park is nothing to do with the club, but fans should still be prepared and able to make their own choices, not turn up on the evening and have the price rise 'sprung' on them.
  2. Sad to hear there was a poor attendance last night for the legend Kilb. The car park price increase will mean many more 'stray' cars parked on pavements and layby's along Lady Lane for sure. Paying for kids under 11 is a disastorous move, mind you, at least there is a sweet stall now!! . As others have said, 3 quid for a programme will mean no more passing the time reading it before meetings start..... i will keep the score in my head. Sadly, i can't see the next two home meetings wetting the appetite for fans. The current climate will probably mean most fans will wait until the weather improves and the real business of league meetings start. The management must surely be innovative this season with admission charges. Half price admission for the visits of BelleVue,Lakeside and Eastbourne and for any Sky visits.
  3. I did consider that lewy. It did seem that a certain individual was creating havoc last year. Amazing how one person can contribute to ruining so many supporters enjoyment. Shame Barker isn't still with you, i bet he was mustard to watch at the SBA.
  4. The Plymouth thread has been unusually quiet this close season. Hoping to visit the SBA this year. Cracking little race track.
  5. How was Ian Tiddler Turner looking at the Topinka testimonial Stars fans? He must be approaching his seventies now surely?
  6. Great, are we going to talk about speedway, or perhaps revert back to the who what where why for's on whether Batch has signed, or whether it was ethical blah blah.......?
  7. A couple of grand? And the rest! Agreed 'shocks', the new race suits are innovative and very impressive. Where have you been this close season? Probably like me, bored of the pages and pages of 'Swindongate'.......
  8. You can't surely be talking about speedway on the Swindon 2013 thread yerropes?
  9. Yep, fair point, but come on blu, you must admit the 'Swindongate' saga on the Swindon 2013 thread is becoming very tedious. Wouldn't you rather talk about the fact that you guys have put a decent side together and probably stand a good chance of nicking some points off of the Robins at Blunsdon?
  10. With Crump 99,Noodles, and Blupanther already talking about the much trodden Swindon situation on the Kings Lynn thread, it only requires Vincent Blackshadow and you have a full house!!
  11. Its also incredibly boring and clogging up this thread....
  12. Put those canary yellow specs away Baggers.... Haven't we done this one to death yet?
  13. I thought maybe Proctor and Wells may have been slotted in the line up somewhere TNT. Whilst appreciating there are 16 riders to fit in, but both probably need a run out at Monmore prior to the real business starts.
  14. They have similar dialect in Somerset Jacques....thought you would have picked it up living there?
