  1. Sidders! Welcome back buddy! No getting involved in anymore rows now!
  2. I attend the EOES on a fairly regular basis. Brilliant track, excellent viewing and superb racing. Second only in my opinion to Somerset (although I haven't been to Sheffield and Scunthorpe) However, the crowds at Peterborough are really dire. Somerset get more through the turnstiles. There is absolutely no doubt they will be losing money.
  3. As a staunch Swindon fan, please not Rosco. He needs to learn some etiquette and not to make embarrassing comments on TV. He is a motivator for sure, but you need more than that to manage a team. The trouble is, we simply do not have the firepower in this country. Peter Adams is a fine choice, but even he won't be successful. Currently we have Woffinden who can win races and pretty much no one else. The cupboard is bare and although we have the odd youngster coming through, Lambert, and to a much lesser extent, Gerrity, the future is definitely not bright. We will struggle to compete with the USA, Finland and such like i'm afraid.
  4. I guess I meant that its the least 'trickiest' of the smaller tracks. In fact whenever I have visited Monmore, there has always been excellent racing...unlike the others.
  5. Get you skidder trying to stir it!! Doyley is a Swindon asset and will be in Robins colours next season 100%. Trust me.....
  6. Steve0 is pretty decent crumpie. If you spend the winter with us like you did last year, you will get to know us all much better.....
  7. Mads will be back....as captain...mark my words.....
  8. Looks like one of my predictions are correct.....according to the Kings Lynn thread, Mads has been approached by Rosco....
  9. Wolves difficult to ride? I would say there are more tracks in the EL that are difficult to ride than Monmore. That said, and having watched him ride at Plymouth last season, if Wolves do sign him then I can see him become nigh on unbeatable around Monmore.
  10. I remember it because I was stood next to Steve Shovlar....in those days he was resplendent in Robins colours!
  11. How about a start Marshall that leaps around in chequered clothes? Yellow and black helmet covers?
  12. Doyley will be at Swindon next season. As I see it, that just means the rest of the side steps up one place. Nick to number one, Josh to number five and Alex to number three. Kyle and Charles in the engine room. The reserves are anyone's guess at the moment.
  13. Nothing wrong with Monmore. Definitely one of the country's better tracks. I agree with ORLOVSKI, the major meetings should be shared around. Having said that, the British Final at Brandon and the ELRC at the old Hyde Road were superb times and packed crowds. The British Final at Somerset's Oak Tree Arena, with an air fence, would be terrific, and the ELRC at the EOES would be my choice for 2014.
  14. Not sure Sheffield could afford him now. He's still our asset though. Can you imagine the controversy on here if he was to be re-signed. It may even get 'coombdog' to post on here again! (can't get my smiley to work coombers my old buddy!)
  15. Really? What makes you think that? Nick got to grips with the Somerset track this year (he has always said it wasn't one of his best tracks). Rebels number one in 2014 I reckon.
  16. Doyley is nailed on Swindon bound. The Rebels need to keep the core of this years side bar Jason. Nick, Josh, Kyle, Alex and Wrighty all have improvement in them. Those guys alone make a formidable top 5.
