  1. You are scaring me yerropes....I'm definitely using the Grandstand bogs this season....
  2. Have to laugh at one of the stewards who 'patrols' like a predator inside the stadium during meetings. He wears sunglasses on his baseball cap whatever the weather!! Talking of our famous bogs, rumour has it they have been spruced up for this season. Sheets of crinkly toilet paper provided now along with a slab of soap and candle light. Cockroaches and woodlouse beware....
  3. I think we all know speedway has much to do with confidence. Klindt was criticised last season for shutting off/not mixing it. This was more than likely due to a lapse in confidence levels. When I think back to him previously as a Robin, he was terrific coming from the back. I recall him coming from last to first in one meeting at Blunsdon (Coventry I think). Pleased to hear he looks sharp as he will be vital to Swindon's chances of a play off position.
  4. What the bogs? Lets hope not, they should have been condemned years ago!
  5. Mic man Nigel taking a back seat this year from centre green duties.
  6. Going to be close I reckon. Most of the Pirates go well at Blunsdon. Darcy is 'box office' there and I always enjoy watching Maciej Janowski. See you there Shov. Wouldn't advise you wear your open toe'd sandals this time of year though.
  7. Fans will stop going if their team is losing. It happens every year in every sport. As orion says, Birmingham look very vulnerable. With their track record regarding attendances, I too fear for them.
  8. Reckon the Hammers will be up there battling for a playoff position. Can't see many teams getting much change out of their visit to Lakeside this season.
  9. Just wondering what you were basing your hunch on. I too like Harris, one of the most entertaining riders I have seen in years. Never gives up, uses all lines to pass and is as tough as teak. Would have loved to see him race every week at Blunsdon, but I guess that won't ever happen now. I just can't see him improving that much from now on. I expect some useful performances in the Gp, but can't see him averaging 8 points per meeting in the EL.
  10. Anyone going to press and practice tomorrow? Earlyish start so as Ty can get himself across country for another meeting so I understand.
  11. What have you been drinking tonight Cremorne? . Nowt wrong with the tracksuit bottoms (ankles showing) white socks, Black shoes and sweatshirt. Push the boat out maybe with an Adidas holdall.
  12. Lets be honest, this years Somerset team is not the one the management or the fans would have wanted. However, they have assembled a decent, competitive side that will do well at the OTA, but will probably struggle away. I expect a team that will challenge for a play off position or end up mid table. Still, one thing is for sure, the racing every week will be top drawer.
  13. I think it makes a difference the fact that you watch your PL racing at a brilliant track like Somerset. The racing for me, is far better than most, if not all EL tracks.
  14. I would say that if Smart is scoring one or two points per meeting whatever the circumstances, he will be replaced. Most clubs, not only Poole would become a little impatient. Just the way it is nowadays.
  15. Superb rider with a brilliant style of riding. Almost as smooth as the great Leigh Adams!
  16. What are you on about? Most are honest opinions, you know, the sort of thing people do on forums.
