Let's hope Batch makes a decent fist of it then. I recall last time he rode at number one for us 3 years ago it was disastrous. Fortunately it was for a short time before Hans Andersen took over.
Pretty sure Swindon did it in 2007. They retained Adams, Richardson, Ulamek, Gejdde, Chrznowski from the 2006 play off side. Once again beaten in the 2007 play off final.
After the delight of seeing such a promising looking Rebels side announced last Thursday, thought I'd drop in to the forum to share the hopes and dreams of fellow Somerset fans and well wishers for the coming season...... Then I see jenga's name on the last post....many of the posts have at least two of the seven deadly sins....
Well done the Somerset management on assembling another exciting line up!
The intrigue of silly season! Greg would be a fantastic signing but I reckon he would struggle nowadays with the demands of the EL on top of his various other commitments. That said, wouldn't mind watching him at Blunsdon every week.
We would all enjoy watching Kaspraczak when he's in the mood. A class act for sure. However, his recent track record in relation to reliability and arguably honesty and integrity is simply appalling.
Wrighty is a strong signing if it's true. Can't see him putting much on his average next season, but if he maintains it and continues his superb form at home then I'm happy.
Rosco has his critics, but historically he has built play off teams in around 7 out of the past 8 years (including the Coventry title winning side)
I'm content that 2015 will be no different.
