  1. Mads or Zengi, leaving just enough room for Emil.
  2. The new signing has to be one of our assets surely. I will go for Mads or Zengi.
  3. He hasn't changed his name to Bigcatdiary has he?!!
  4. Exciting looking side in my opinion. Lakeside teams in recent years have not got the paying public's juices flowing when they have ridden away from home (especially at Swindon). This team is definitely different.
  5. He's a good enough rider to quickly get to grips with Monmore. He'd be a decent number 5 in any side in my book.
  6. Pretty much agree with all of what Blueboy has said, save for the Janowski rubbish at Swindon remark. Always considered him a class act and to be fair to him, he did ok in Robins colours. Sure, he has improved, firstly at KingsLynn, and even more at Poole. I am convinced he will be the Polish number one and feature heavily in future GP's. The great Leigh Adams described Janowski as ' the best signing since me' when Swindon first snapped him up as a 19 year old.
  7. Last season they lived about 3 miles from Swindon town centre.
  8. Josh, Brady and Richie are all capable of improving their respective averages. Starkey will also look to kick on from last season. The engine room containing Wrighty and Lanham looks solid enough, especially at the OTA. I predict a top 4 finish with Kurtz finishing the season as the Rebels number one.
  9. SCB coming over to have another pop at Swindon. ' Swindon don't have a team'....Not yet we don't have a team but it is January and the season doesn't start until March. 'Swindon's wage offers are wrong rather than Doyle' demands'..... You know that for a fact do you?
  10. Why do you have to resort to personal insults?
  11. Decent side and Robbo will give it 100% as ever. Beatable at Brandon by track specialists Swindon!
  12. Matt Ford gave a big hint at Somerset's final home match of last season that Davey Watt was in his future plans.
  13. Somerset also but let's face it, it's very rare.
  14. About time someone gave those guys a 'big up'. Well done to you cookis and all the guys n gals mentioned.
  15. What teams do keep the same line up come season end? Happy that the Rebels have a decent and competent team. We shall see.
  16. Ordinary? Josh, Worrall and Kurtz as the heatleaders, supported by Wright and Lanham in the engine room. Don't see that as ordinary. It will take a good side to beat them at the OTA and I wouldn't be surprised to see the Rebels win away from home at some of the bigger tracks. All 3 heatleaders have plenty of potential to improve. Top 4 for me.
  17. I don't buy the Davey Watt signing as a poor one. In fact I reckon it's a shrewd piece of work by the Pirates management. Watt is perfectly at home at Wimbourne Road. Lives locally, rides the track well and will be a competent number 3. No doubting he will put a point on his Lakeside average. North I would bet on maintaining his average from last season.
