Heat 14 against Rye House was pretty special too. There seems to be more passing and re passing this season. The recent heavy home wins certainly don't reflect the standard of racing. I think he also enjoys being the "pantomime villain" He was smiling broadly as he received his traditional booing from the Somerset faithful on parade.

Have always said Nick has the potential to become a heat leader and hopefully the Robins number one for a few years to come. He perhaps hasn't developed as rapidly as say Ward or Woffinden, but he is still only 21, and as you mention, he still continues to improve. Nick had plenty going for him. He can gate, he is totally fearless, and most importantly he has craft and guile and can make stunning passes. Long may his form continue, because we sure need him to this season!

Your glass really is half empty is t it? When you say 'the majority of the time the club sign riders who are on the way down', how about the signing of Ben Barker a few years ago? What about Mikkel B Jensen? What about Jack Holder? Three terrific signings in my opinion. Plymouth have a superb little track with a huge catchment area for a fan base. Once they find the key to a decent side, the crowds will pour into the SBA, mark my words.

There's no pleasing some people! This is a very innovative move by the Swindon management. People on here have been banging on for years about speedway being only worth a tenner a meeting. So Rosco and Co grasp the nettle in what is no doubt difficult times, and do something pretty special in my opinion. Why don't we all embrace such a move and congratulate the management???
