All if and buts. You could of course say if Batch had fired, Swindon would have won by more. -

Typical Zagar. Class one minute, abysmal the next. Or is it agent Mateij? -
Sorry, I don't follow you.

Your glass really is half empty is t it? When you say 'the majority of the time the club sign riders who are on the way down', how about the signing of Ben Barker a few years ago? What about Mikkel B Jensen? What about Jack Holder? Three terrific signings in my opinion. Plymouth have a superb little track with a huge catchment area for a fan base. Once they find the key to a decent side, the crowds will pour into the SBA, mark my words.

Hoping Swindon show more consistency at Blunsdon than they did last year. Another home win would be just what the Doctor ordered. However, Wolves will provide a stern test. Karlsson is a little unpredictable around the Abbey, so they will need him firing on all cylinders. Robins by 4 points. -
Sheffield Vs Somerset Pl 23/04/2015
EnglishRoundabout replied to Tigerish's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
You can see that Leigh is happy at Somerset. He has quickly become very popular with the fans and clearly has a good relationship with the management team. As already stated by others, he is a true professional Not for the first time in his career a 4 hour trip to his home matches is taken in his stride! -

Aston Villa Blu? I thought an exiled Scot living in Suffolk might at least support Ipswich! Not this time Baggers.....sadly. -
What you don't realise is that he was probably making reference to the fact that the Rockets were in with a shout for much of this meeting. The final score flattered the Rebels. Rye House made a real fist of it and mixed it with the Somerset riders as well as out gating them on a regular basis. Jacobsen, Aspgren, Vissing and Boxall were all competitive pretty much throughout the meeting. There were numerous passes and tight finishes. The meeting was run smoothly by referee Robinson with no re-runs or tape infringements. Although dusty later on in the meeting, the track was first class with two racing lines. Great entertainment.

Is Rich Lawson The New Harry Kane?

You have obviously not seen Brady Kurtz in action then! He rarely makes the start and regularly comes from the back. -

Now this would be a decent match for Sky to cover. Always decent racing at Monmore and some of the Aces are pretty good there too -
Somerset V Plymouth 3/4/15.
EnglishRoundabout replied to Cliffeboy's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I thought Holder looked like he had plenty of potential. Ok he had two poor rides (his first was because he penalised himself by moving at the start) but then in two of his other rides he showed he had fire in his belly by chasing Brady hard for the first lap before losing ground on the flying Aussie Rebel, but then also keeping Richie Worrall honest for all four laps.
