  1. Brum, chill mate. This is a forum and people have different opinions. Furthermore, things can be lost in translation. Other posters can see you are taking the bait and are just piling in to wind you up. I admire your passion.
  2. Fancy you not turning up at the OTA again Jenga. Too much for you seeing the home of the table topping Rebels?
  3. Agreed Reliant. Winners make changes no matter the situation. Furthermore, financially Ward will have them queuing at the turnstiles. The car park Mafia will be back in their element!!
  4. Geography was never KKS's best subject.... I remember he/she saying they were travelling to the OTA last season to watch Peterborough, and stating that the OTA was in Devon!
  5. If at all possible I'd keep Zengi in. It's been said before that he is one of the more loyal Poles, plus he is continuing to improve. It's always useful being quick from the gate and Zengi is certainly that.
  6. Is this this year's speedway track telephone directory Nick?
  7. I find it incredible that it happens. And although I wasn't at the recent Swindon meeting when these alleged offences took place, if it is true then I have lost yet more respect for the people that have any influence in the sport. I would love to see Ward race in Swindon colours (even if it is for a couple of months) but for goodness sake, let it be done with integrity.
  8. How you have changed your tune. I had you down as a bloke who was more in favour of Swindon over the years. Seem to recall you wishing Swindon well on many occasions. Surely you don't think skullduggery doesn't go on with every club in speedway? ( not that I am supporting this dispicable approach for one minute by the way) Until speedway gets rid of the fact that averages are the integral part of team building and indeed achieving results, this sport will be riddled with misdemeanours.
  9. I am a little nervous at Batchelor being number one..... Memories of him starting the season at number one for the Robins a few years back. We seemed to concede a 1~5 in almost every heat one, even at Blunsdon! Then thank goodness Hans took over and did the business.
  10. You speak to the majority of riders and they talk about 'sharpness' and 'track time'. The Rebels have a pretty quiet period at the moment so I would imagine his guest appearance are looked upon as being positive, as well as practice at the respective tracks he visits!
  11. By all accounts Leicester is a bit of a gaters track so AM and Zengi will probably go well there. Nick certainly likes the track going on previous visits. Going to be a tight one to predict and likely to be only a few points in at the end. Either way, Robins to grab a point.
  12. I sense if it happens the Robins management are adopting the ruthless streak of your own club skidder. And if it does happen, I reckon it's the right move. Watch the crowds flock in. Guaranteed.
  13. Come on cliffeboy, 'left us up sh£t creek' ...... hardly.... There are plenty more fish in the sea with a 3.00 average!!
  14. No doubt Kurtz will be a GP rider Sid. Reckon Morris will also make it to the top also.
  15. Nevertheless a decent signing with plenty of promise. Onwards and upwards!
  16. KKS used to threaten to go to all sorts of away matches when he/she suppported Peterborough, but never showed up. Shame cos I so wanted to check out those purple chinos!!
  17. Will you be supporting them or the Pirates?
  18. And Peterborough prior to Swindon. KKS has been doing this for years.
  19. He used to have the same opinion of Foxhall. I heard him complaining to Leigh Adams once about the Ippo track. He actually rode brilliantly eventually on that evening. He does seem to have downers on certain tracks though.
  20. I thought a Brazillian was something to do with a ladies waxing style!
  21. Can't see the Bees replacing the prodigal son of Warwickshire.
  22. Hansen made one start and looked extremely quick. However that was his sole input for the night. Desperately disappointing performance from an experienced rider. Howarth was good value and mixed it with the Rebels, Wells also battled well. Williamson made three very decent gates and Wethers was worth more than he ended up with. The Rebels look unstoppable at the OTA at the moment. It will take a titanic effort from an away side to take any points off of them. A new number 7 to be announced later next week following the release of Benji Compton which may strengthen the Rebels even more, who knows!
  23. Blimey confers, the Bakers Arms at Badbury? I've seen better bogs on the back straight at Blunsdon!
