  1. Can you make sure it's posted after the watershed please? Children could be mentally scarred forever.
  2. So sentimental Orlovski. Pleased to hear that the bogs can be moved block by block and reinstated in their rightful place.
  3. Have I missed something? Have Wolves announced their side in November??
  4. According to someone within the management at Somerset, Brady expressed a desire at 14 years old to come to England to ride for Somerset. He wanted to follow in Doyley's footsteps. Who would have thought that at 18 years old, he would be the Rebels number one. Who would have thought it also, that there are some recommending he leaves the club to ride a smaller track!! Unbelievable.
  5. There are some Somerset fans who want to see the back of Brady!!!!!
  6. According to this forum, there are question marks over Josh returning and Worrall moving on. Moreover, some on here reckon Brady is not a number one (laughs out loud) and in need of a smaller track (grimaces) so I'm only joining in with the silly season!!
  7. Tungate has already been mentioned, and he improves each time he rides the OTA, but without wishing to hack our friends from Suffolk off, I also think someone like Cameron Heeps would be an excellent signing.
  8. He's a character for goodness sake, like Shov. I'm sure we would miss Starman if he went to Rome for 18 months too......wouldn't we?
  9. And some of the Lakeside fans want Kapraczak back!!!
  10. I watch Wrighty most weeks at Somerset, and he is superb value. Tries 100% the whole time (sometimes to his detriment) and is great entertainment. Although he's from Cheshire, he lodges in Somerset, so as he's already a Rebels asset, looks like more of the same for 2016.
  11. Didn't Darcy say he wouldn't ever ride for any club apart from Poole too? It all boils down to personal situations as to where riders ride. I'm sure Holder would like nothing better than to return to Wimbourne Road, but never say never. Heard it all before.
  12. But he's just turned 19! He's had two seasons in the PL. He's bound to be a little inconsistent at such a tender age. I'm sure 2016 will see more improvement. Pretty sure he will end up at Somerset again (at least doubling up for them and Poole) but any PL club would be crazy not to have him in their ranks.
  13. Some character then....Odd, a bit wet, a bit naive but a really nice bloke!
  14. He may have finished as number one in the Plymouth averages scottyfan, but he didn't ever ride at number one. He was the number 5.
  15. Shame people don't come back week after week anymore just for the smell and the noise! I guess the majority want much more than that before they part with their cash. Speedway presentation has never been particularly contemporary. I started going in the early 70's at Swindon, and as a youngster I had never heard of the music being played. It was all early 60's music. It wasn't until around 75/76 that more up to date music was played. The year after we even progressed to a 'roving Mike man' on the centre green! From then on, things gradually improved (except of course for our infamous back straight bogs)
  16. Sid, if I'm honest, I can't see speedway at the new track in 2016. I do believe there will be a new track, but not next year. Good to see you back.
  17. Can't the green gunk be splattered over the walls in the new bogs? Sentimental value and all that?
  18. What a short memory you have! Sure, Brady tailed off towards the end of the season for well documented reasons, but let's remember how he led the side superbly until mid August. In addition, I'm sure the Sheffield and Peterborough fans would snap him up as their number one given half a chance. From memory oldtimer, you don't go too often do you?
  19. Potential to improve? Can't see it to be honest. Lost his bottle. And it often rains in England so we have the odd wet track from time to time.
  20. Looking at those golden oldies at the farewell meeting, can anyone tell me which rider was the one who was slightly hunched over?
  21. Burnt his bridges in his play off performances and turned the majority of his faltering support against him with his ill judged and poorly thought out "speech" prior to the farewell meeting.
